    STEP #3: Critical Damage +1 x13
    STEP #4: MATK %-2, Accuracy-7, Magic Pierce %-3 x1
    STEP #5: STR % +5, Critical Damage % +4, Critical Damage +4 x1
    Success rate: 100%

    Nope... matk% and % to element are both "offensive stats" so they use double potential on armor. Never mind int+14, even matk7%, damage to elem% is heavy gamble already.

    Item : Lil Empress Garb
    Potential : 66
    STEP #0: MATK % +3 x1
    STEP #1: ATK %-7, Physical Pierce %-3, Accuracy-7, Accuracy %-3 x1
    STEP #2: % stronger against Fire +14, MATK % +4 x1
    Success rate: 42% (overall 17.6% to keep the 2 positive stats)

    Matching means it uses the original element of the weapon. For example Waldfee is Water elem so statting Water elem on the sword would be "matching" element. Matching elem only costs 10 potential to stat while non matching (putting fire elem on Waldfee) would take 100 potential to stat

    Need help, frist time stating. When im adding element, it's always -100 potential, what am I doing wrong? Also what does original and non-original element mean??

    Hey.. great post and thanks for the hard work you are putting! I am fairly new to the game and just started statting after reading a lot about it, and since I usually like to know how the system works.

    I've been wondering, how does steps and adding certain stats on each affects the success rate? And do each stat differ in succeding when entering negative pot? I guess a better question would be what affects the success rate..? Lmao

    Already answered 3 posts above yours.
    Tech stat, available pot and skill points put in Customize Equipment an Accurate Customization along with same stat type penalties.
    It uses more pot and reduces the success rate.

    Adding stats from the same section such as crit, crit%, cdmg and cdmg% gives a penalty when more than 1 is added to a gear but adding from separate sections such as Int and matk being added to armor or a weapon has no penalty, the more you add from the same section the bigger the penalty is.

    Might as elaborate that it's the sum of 5% * (2^n) for each category with 2 or more stats used.

    Example:

    ATK+7%, Physical Pierce+3%
    Critical Rate+18
    Critical Damage+18
    MATK-7%
    Magic Pierce - 3%

    This uses from the ATK and the Critical cagetories. There are 2 stats from the Critical category so you would get 5%*(2 ^ 2), or 20% from Critical category. There are 4 stats from the ATK category, so you would get 5% * (2^4) or 80% penalty from the ATK category.

    Since the final penalty is the sum of all the individual penalties of all the individual categories, the penalty for the final step would be exactly 80% + 20%, or 100% (penalty is same as the potential used to put the stats on. GG)
