Damage up?newbie here

Guys how can I increase my base damage Im lvl 103 but my damage is only 800 how can I increase it more?My plan is to reach at least 2k or 2,5k damage

the Two-Handed skill multiplies your total atk stat by 1.5 during damage calculation when you deal a critical hit and your sub weapon is empty.

 

Yes you can reach 2K-2.5K damage with +S player craft weapon and armor with 2 slot and using ATK+% crystal, Dark Power talisman , scary scarf and with Max DEX > STR. But this won’t give your a good damage, it’s only make your ATK look cool and pretty.

Katana auto attack is unsheathe and most of the skill is unsheathe as well, so the best crystal and gear(not player craft) for Katana is unsheathe, because currently similar stat like Short Range Damage, Critical Damage, none of them can reach +10%. for now odeleon and spectra of death still in reasonable price, scary scarf is nice but if you can’t get one, top hat ( NPC craft ) is another option.

DW skill God-speed grant you passives +15% unsheathe attack in LvL10, flash blast grant another +10% unsheathe attack at LVL10 when cast. So if you got this 2 skill, your final damage will have +25% boost.

Level have relation with your base attack
Katana=(LV+WATK+STR*1.5+DEX*2.5)*(1+ATK%/100)+flat ATK
Now you just level 103, so try to CAP your character first ( CAP now is 205 ), this will directly affect your Base ATK.

 

Atk isnt straight up a conversion to Damage
Raising your actual damage depends on various factors, especially for a katana as you want to balance atk spd, crit damage, flat atk and unsheath. Balance is key to maximizing your damage but you dont want your skills/points to be all over the place
