Just curious how many did not jump onto the bandwagon..

Was an archer/gunner even before the snipe hype.

 

Anything interesting to me is what I use. I don't use snipe because, I can't use it the way I want too.
My plan was to make a status archer (not gunner since they idea isn't dps) with Quick Draw with a combo like this:
Power Shot> Moeba Shot (Consecutive)> Bullseye (Consecutive)> Paralyze Shot (Consecutive)> Snipe (Consecutive)> Smoke Dust (Consecutive)
Since using a bow increases the chance of status infliction for all skills in combo (except bullseye which is just used to fill a spot).
But since Power Shot and Snipe do not launch as fast as I would like, I can't use it...

 

You could divide it in 2 (3 skill) combos, and use sneak between them or before them.
Power Shot>Bullseye>Paralyze .. sneak if needed .. Moeba>Snipe>Smoke Dust. Repeat.
(P. shot delays but you start at long range, end it paralyzing the mob, moeba will slow it so you can still cast snipe safely, and ending with smoke will blind it so you're also safer if the mob got close)

With that said. I use sword, archer, and mage skills because I just like the versatility.

 

since the game first came out back when everything was in Japanese and partial english. I have been
1st slot-mage
2nd slot-archer made into a tank.

 

I chose to be a Mage ever since I started playing, with no prior experience of Toram. They just happen to be good, so I stuck with a Mage. The style of play that Mages have is something that appeals to me as well.

 

Gunner is easiest to play as dps role and capable of doing high damage.
Even with my crappy equips, damage output is high.
I still playing 2h for dps role from time to time.

 

Well my IGN is Bow-guy so it explains itself; all though i been using a bow gun for so long i should of made it bowgun-guy.
Its nice to have snipe tho cos its the one nice thing archers have compared to 2h and mages and 1h who had nice benifits before snipe came along. Only crappy thing is all the wannabe gunners running around now

 

1h/Shield till death do us part.
I won't play Avabel because their Sword/Shield is garbage.

 

I started as a brawler. Then moved to a Breaker Mage. Still use both. All my other slots have been used and reused and recycled lol.

No trend following here just being thrilled that I am finally able to out dps those 2h xD
and BTW I don't use, impact, BC that would kinda be a hybrid

 

made my gunner way before snipe came out.. didn't want to at first but Potum guild members was required to make either one archer/gunner/mage.. i didn't know why so i ate a potato chips. o_0

 

You can't outdps 2h as an archer, I don't think. Probably as a gunner. Regardless, I can't be bothered to really make a gunner in general as while my first chars was an archer and he's something like 62, the only time I'll ever use him is in tfl or something because I use my Mage more.

 

I jumped in because these classes (Mage and Bowgunner) are the most efficient at farming.
Once I get all I need for Swordies and a Brawler, I'm jumping out of it.

 

well, I do have a chance to out dps a 2h if my snipe hits hard and the run is fast xD

 

xD atm not as op, since I still try to get a hang on that snipe xD

 

Still got my 2h. Still got my archer. Still got my mage. And my knuckles is my chemist tech BS.
