Boss Roga - Killer Coat (Any tips?)

I've managed to get everything from this guy EXCEPT for the Killer Coat (I've even got the crystal).

Just wondering are there any tips to improve the chances of getting the coat to drop?
What is the maximum time to kill him? 2:00? 90 seconds?
What is the break point tied to the coat drop?

We've gone in with 50% drop items, and even managed to have everyone get a separate rank, and still no go on that coat. Kind of frustrating right now.

So any tips?

bad luck at coat maybe. got 8 coats before getting xtal

 

♡ I'm in the same boat as you. I've killed Roga over 100 times and haven't seen one KC or xtal. I'm suprise they made the drop rate so low for KC. Seems to be just as rare as xtal. ♡

 

Bad luck... I love it when I go in with a 30% boost from the monthly ticket, and a 50% boost from books, plus get a rank title, and still get junk drops.
Guess I'll just have to keep at it some more, just that he is a major pain on my potion supply.

 

I got 2 coats a day. Farming roga 2-4 hours. But im unlucky getting an xtal :3

Dont hate me :3 I like killer coat tho and giving away apps for my guildmates

 

we went as far as 45 seconds (all parts broken), and still no killer coat
but when we took our time (chatting while killing) we are able to get a coat

maybe it is placed on a higher drop table bracket
we are lucky though, it's drop rate is not as horrible as a Slotted Ooze Armor
(because Ooze drops a helm/shield/staff/armor, as opposed to Roga that drops staff/armor only).

so as tip, i guess i can only give is break all parts, then kill quickly together with all his mobs, and always go full party.

dat feeling when u use 50% drop rate and all u got is 3 xmas stars in one run and nasty boss roga belt.

I'm more surprised that you still get xmas stars...

 

10+ hours over 200 kills.....nothing but staffs and ore.

 

I was in a tank deathmatch with a guildy when I got a slotted kc ._.
Maybe it requires a conflict in the pt to drop? Idk XD

 

Lol got 3 xtals got a slotted killer suit. Countless ns arm.. i have a method tried it a lot of times even with B.B. Garb.

 

It's quite troublesome indeed..
What I can say is faster kill better, but the effect will only showing when you passed certain secs like under 20 secs or something something or so I thought
Getting time and rank takes priority over breaking, it's gonna be hard with nerf of snipe tho
All party members must do the tapping too, tell them not to only depends on the breaker
most important: pray a LOT!

 

Well lets just say a rare item in your inventory is a jinx even from one of your party members...

I got the same problem. I got Xtal before Killer Coat but today after weeks of farming i got KC without any boosters :3. It is unslotted though so i keep farming if u want to farm together just tell so i would be happy to farm with u. They should really do something about those drop rates-_-. But anyway i wish u best of luck. I hope u get it soon if u didnt get it in the past days

 

Just farm for spina. The coat is now about 100k and that can be easily farmed and quicker that farming the boss. If you want it dropped with stats do fast kills, luck books, breaking, etc.
