Why when im farming mats . i always feel so sleepy?.
I tried this steps and it works

• Turn on as many lights as you can. If you're not a position to control the lights, then position yourself as close to a light source as possible.
• Suck on a mint or chew gum to keep your mouth alert.
• Sniff peppermint oil to wake up your sense of smell
• Listen to music, listen to jazz, hip-hop, rock, anything that makes you feel alert.
• If your eyes are hurting, take a break and look at a wall or even out a window.
• Splash cold or warm water on your face.

You aren't the only one. I also get sleepy mostly if I'm with randoms, when I'm with players I know it doesn't happen.

If I'm farming mats during the day I'll watch tv so it's not a big problem but at night I find myself flinching just to stay awake

Me too . but i ended up sleeping while my character is on .

 

I don't usually get sleepy. Just plain out bored. I just blast hard emo music and that keeps me awake while eating some junk food.

 

Also check your timetable coz your body might really need to rest.

Most chronic players can sacrifice sleep on what their characters can gain in the game. ^_^

anw srsly, my body only needs 3-5 hours of sleep/day, so I never have a sleepy problem when farming.
but getting bored, yes, I never consistently camp on one spot in a day.

 

i can't function well if i sleep only 6 hours for 2 nights straight.

must.have.8hours.sleep

 

My way to prevents sleep is play with my neko n let it bite me...XD simple n easy n make me love my neko more :3

 

I text my friends while I farm :3

 

Lol your not the only one with the falling asleep problem. Whenever my character's mp hits 0 I doze right off along with my character and well once I'm dead asleep xD my character dies along with me xD. Well sitting, barely moving and slowly poking on several buttons isn't my thing xD. Well needa constantly keep myself active and on the move to stay awake.

I do pretty much what you do too as you've listed.

- Another thing I do is play Toram while running on a treadmill. (Well can't fall asleep when you're running on a treadmill unless you're interested in falling and landing flat on your face. xD)
- Then there's coffee. Though don't like drinking coffee too much so eh... tea? Drinking water works too to stay awake lol. Staying hydrated helps ouo)b.
- Then there's also spicing up your sense of taste xD. Well highly doubt any1 would fall asleep with a spicy hot ghost pepper in their mouth. Yep once you fall asleep and take a bite into that ghost pepper...prepare to feel the burn. 'owo)'b (Jk xD but yeah snacking on spicy snacks or healthy snacks does keep you awake xD)
- Then there's also multi-tasking. Yep... holding onto a phone with one foot and chatting away. Hopping on a treadmill with the remaining foot. Poking away on Toram with a single finger like a mad-man. Single-handedly typing on a laptop with the other hand. Listening to an audio book on one earbud and listening to music on another and sipping on a cup of tea with my tail~ 'owo)'b

Yep... my style of staying awake on Toram. xD

 

Lol once I was soo sleepy I fell asleep while farming k coat and dreamt that I got 1 xD

 

If i listen to Jazz, i would fall asleep lmao

 

I, for one, play toram to help me sleep. Works like a charm. Joke aside, watching anime while playing/farming keeps me from dozing off.

 

I watch anime when I farm. There's like 2-5 current anime per day so I got like 20-80 mins down time I can use to farm randomly

Oou. I fall asleep while maze running 100% of the time but while farming I usually lose track of time and realize it's like 5am -merp- I will say farming is tedious and not my cup of tea but IT MUST BE DONE T.T

 

lol ya still got a beat my 2 days record lol 48 hours only to feel unwell and in hospital lol
