100% Ailment Resistance (1h+shield)

NOTE: This is just to keep track of my build. Credits to other's build
~ I decided to reset my skills and instead of using binding strike to steal aggro, I'll use meteor to save up skill points.
~ I know 255 MTL gives 75% resistance + mushroom cap = 95% resistance but with the help of avatars I luckily get resistance stats

i suggest to make this 6 to reduce its mp cost unless you want to keep it at 3 for aggro purposes

 

Ooh you got all the resistance skills at shield tree, nice. My suggestion is you can further save your sp by not taking mp boost (only +300mp, not worth it tbh)
Also, you should take warcry and berserk for a non physical aggro generator

 

Binding strike and meteor and rest of physical skills are good to use or spam when in the right situation especially when you have 3 mages in your party

Gonna use meteor instead of binding strike. With the help of war cry and berserker (From what Yunan said), it can also steal aggro

Is protection and aegis important? I decided to make it 5 for now bcoz I don't usually use it all the time.

If you haven't reach at least 20k HP, ornlarf is a pretty good choice. Most fractional spikes hits you 1.2k to 1.5k and for bosses attacks like the meteor blue aoe of usamasa with all those resistance plus aegis can be reduced to under 1.9k. With 20k HP it will be within sanctuary's damage range to further reduce the damage to only 10% of it. Plus you get max HP heal.amount from p.def. Without HP boost and ornlarf I could only get around 15k hp which isn't quite enough so I use ornlarf instead of ifrid
