1h fu gear

I got my skills in order and stats jw what a sword fu uses for gear or what stats to look out for I'm full strength what sword stats should I look for I know knuckle stats don't apply. So wepons and armor stats plz thank u on advance u fine people! ^.^

 

For armor i would suggest Str7%Cd11cd7%
For wpn Str7%Atk7%Cd7% or A7%cd11cd7% depends on ur budget

 

That's all player crafted gear I take it... I will try for that but for time being is there any drop gear u can lead me to that will work untill I can pay a bs to make me that gear u said above? Jw thanks in advanced

 

try these armor drop version for 1h fu or staff fu. (which i think its harder to farm these than crafted gears)
FW garb npc or drop.
Ooze drop
Killer coat drop.
Armigma drop
BB garb drop
try to look for etiher one of this stat : ATK, STR, Cdamage, shortrange damage

for weapon :
1h BKOD drop
blitz sword
Sword of sin

 

Ty soo much just one more question should I use heavy armor on fu...? Since like all our damge comes from combos and I don't think the attack speed penalty apples to combo speed but rather to auto attacks

 

imma answer your question with another question.XD.
are u relying your dps in your ASPD? or you use auto ataks to gain mp?
are u relying on evasion or guard?

i will try to describe it in 2 major things for you to consider :
1.ASPD n AMPR
in a short run battle(low hp bosses). ppl rarely do normal atk. they spammm til boss die. at least 80% 1hfu do that. so i think aspd from light armor doesnt help ^^

in a medium - long run battle. sometimes you will run out mp bec quikdraw doesnt proc as u hope it happens during boss fight. so normal hitting will be your way to gain mp. for this case , light armor comes in handy.

2. Survivability
both light and heavy give benefit and drawbacks
if your build is relying on evasion. use light
if you like to generate boss aggro and receive all damage. go heavy version.

evasion is less likely to proc than guard.
however both are affecting your survivability in boss battle.

if i have sword fu char,
i ll prolly use heavy version and always use gspd pot to overcome low aspd. bec my playstyle would be spamming combo while becaming boss punching bag anyway. and aspd and dodge bonus are affecting mostly on agi based char.

however use light version or non remodeled also not bad. evasion looks cool ^^

 

I know agi effects.... dodge... aka the "miss" in game but I was told evasion is based solely on gear and skill points basically evasion and agi are not linked... or am I wrong on this? I have about 10 points left... and I have all my dps skills... and I don't have mp problems due to I'm sword fu... but I still use shell break in my combo. So I thought... maybe high evasion with light armor mastery would be better then taking hits.... with low hp.... just a thought

 

youre 100% correct and your understandig is also good.
its coming bak to your playstyle. we cannot dictate u and your playstyle. that 10 remaining sp can be used up to u. kight mastery helps your survival rate yet not much diff than no light armor mastery skill tho.
