Whats the best combo ender for brawler?
Answer: Shellbreak
Why do we use Shellbreak as combo ender?
Answer: Because if the Armor Break proced from shell break u can still prepare for Heavy smash. You can still do 2-3 combo before doin impact>Heavy(smite) combo..
But why?
Answer: So u can still prorate for ur heavy smash and Have better dmg . Also only brawlers has high aspd/motion speed to be able to do this and give us some edge from fus
What should i make as saving combo then?
Answer: Me myself has used 2 skill as saver on my brawlers.. Warcry and Flashblast(Godspeed user)
What if i use Shellbreak as dps?
Answer: If ever u use Shellbreak as Dps. Use a fast single hit skill as ender(holyfist/smash/sonic) and u can still manage to do 2 auto attacks before doing impact heavy combo

Shell Break is a nice combo ender, but other people have different combo styles. As for me, I don't have War Cry yet, so Shell Break makes a nice saver.

 

nope this is just a guide been thinking of posting this for a long time ..

indeed sb is a better saver combo but it eats up too much proration .. also the armor break that it inflicted became useless because it only last for 5 seconds

 

Alternatively, you could end your main combo with Impact, and then just straight-up use Heavy Smash. Y'know, to have a net gain of mp recovery from Shell Break, for those longer runs.

Something like... I don't know...:

Poison Dagger > War Cry (Save) > Shell Break (Smite) > Impact (Cons)

-to-

Heavy Smash > War Cry (Save) > Triple Kick (Smite) > Impact (Cons)​

 

tho ur heavy smash wont have the +50% from smite tag tho

 

My argument is that the +50% might be exchanged for having Shell Break actually recover mp, rather than being completely used up by the smited Heavy Smash. It's just another option for those longer runs (as I prefer DOT over Burst damage in any event).

 

its up to if u use impact heavy or not if u need mp then dont use it and if u have enuf mp u can still use it.. done some long runs with this set up and i never run out of mp .. also ampr can help u out or quickdraw(if u have this).. my brawler has 43 ampr and always doin 2-3 autos every combo so i never run out of mp even in the long runs .. it just depends on how u use it.. this isnt a must tbh.. this is just an explanation of one of proper ways to use shellbreak ..

also a brawler must always interrupt the boss at all cost and my 1mp combo has flinch and tumble.. im doing my job yet can do decent dmg .. also am not a burst dmg.. if im into burst dmg i shouldve go for fus

And, yes. I see your point. Brawler's are breakers/control, first and foremost. And Armor Break does not mean that Heavy Smash must follow. I see that you also rely on other methods to recover mp besides Shell Break, akin to "infinite mp" builds, using a combination of ampr, Shell Break, and Quick Draw. And like any other guide, my option and yours are both viable if properly built.

indeed.. thats the reason why i keep remodeling my builds till i have the edge and when i have what i want

 

It's a way to return the mp you just use for that combo and a preparation for you impact heavy smash combo. ^_^

 

indeed heavy will have better dmg cuz we already prorate it

Why shellbreak as combo ender?

Because thats the only prerequisite to do twice heavy smash for 1 armor break
