A decline in players lately.

I've been seeing fewer people play lately, did they jump ship and got on board the RO eternal love bandwagon?

The sad part is that the bots are the ones left.

Hopefully Asobimo does something, because with new games getting pumped out? There will be a point of comparison somewhere down the line. I just hope and pray that this does not spell the decline of Toram.

 

Many of us realized how bs the game is over time, older players especially who have learned how the game works, taken the time to test, etc. It's the realization that the game isn't as great as we first thought. Or maybe we're just getting older, who knows.

 

The sad truth, I agree nonetheless.

 

I think it's just the old established player base that has quit. There are still many new players that join. As long as we hear of scammers, we'll know that there are still new players in the game. The new player-base just has not reached the same level of play as the older generation due to the fact that farming spina is much more difficult now. The population of veterans - players that play and stay - is lower, but the overall number of non-bot players in my opinion hasn't really diminished.

 

I feel like a relic since i just missed obt by just a month(could have got them albus wings). Well, im still here and still loving it.

 

Nah current events not that good on drops so most main accounts chose to hibernate and use their bots, tuyuls, mod accounts for easy, fast, consistent Spina production instead. Thats the truth in this game. Guild masters can confirm that like members active in their chats and can cope with the Spina needed to upgrade their gears when necessary yet no guild points contribution at all. But they're there, best game so far in its own way. Once you played it, other games might not feels right.

 

Still waiting for that Guild Merchant I heard about 2 years ago, when they released DW. =m=

Honestly after you beat mq and get good gear you really start getting bored of the game. The events are pretty meh they last like a month but are only exciting like 3-5 days. The collab events also do kind of suck tbh all they do is add ava items and some emblems. Which is a waste because any other game always have like new maps, weapons, and missions for the collab but in toram it's just bland and lazy cosplay outfits

most of time I log into toram with nothing to do because at that point your just trying to hoard spina for future gear

 

All game will eventually get boring at some point to many esp when the player don't meet his/her expected outcome why they play the game. Its up to the players how they can make the game they play enjoying. Spina is not easy to acquire that can become a challenge to every player and if you're playing as a DPS, it's advisable to atleast save some ahead for the anticipated updating of gears in the future. However, freedom from game made many newbees or veterans overcome this challenge by bots, mods, bugs, exploits, cheats, etc that results to many felt bored. Building a character (stats, skills, gears, combos, etc) is fun too that can keep anyone interested to keep on playing and apply their ideas on how they interpret the role. But many are just relying on a ready made build they're so dependant on getting spoon fed even asking questions about univesal stuffs on any mmo.
Any game not boring, it's the players decisions to make their game boring.

 

The new RO mobile is good TBH, my only problem is the zenny is purchasable via cash (real money), when i see that i already quit playing it, plus no trading ragnarok is kinda meh for me (i still like the RO1 in PC).

 

Almost player play. New mmorpg cuz they have old memory on that game.
And well the game balance back to basic
When healer or support job back to the line.
You need your pt on that game And in toram almost all bos u can do it solo. Cuz u have outstanding gear. You can kill it fast u no need role on the team u just need tank and dps dps spa.
Cuz that almost toram player just think the best is I can do bos solo.

 

Yep many games learned and tbh no game as generous, good graphics, nice gameplay, regularly updating, free2play with open trade as Toram. That's why I'm strongly against activities that promotes, encourage, advertise shits that will destroy the game in the long run

for now maybe support not necessary. but it might change soon that supports may affects party's efficiency. Like crystal titan is an example with a support that will inflict ailment, the grind be faster. its fine if party no freeze ailment user but it will be a longer kill. because imho support was made to be a full class. the support tree skill's negative effects is a proof. and its funny most ailment that makes damage to most boss multiply dps atks were not the ailments from weapons that counter the boss element. like if you're a full dps mage, would you use a water staff on crystal titan just to inflict freeze from javelin than your light element staff? will you sacrifice huge amount of matk for something that supports your party and contradicts your build that may affect you to get atk rank?

order and chaos 2 was from a chinese developer too. no trade, no mail and no bots. I guess all future games from China might be like that and this might became the standard for all soon

I myself kinda feel bored in Toram nowadays. I have little to do in game, nowadays I only login daily and check market prices. A sht load of homework atm makes me have even less time to play.

I do play RO on Nox since the game has auto kill feature. Not that I like auto games, it's just because atm I have little time to play anything (why am I here then? XD) What I like from both Toram and RO, is that the skill effects aren't over-the-top. If you look at most MMORPGs that put their ads on Youtube, you'll see that the skill effects are too crazy and doesn't really make sense. But it's just my personal preference really.

With christmas events and lv4 DW skills coming soon, we would see a rise in the number of players in a few weeks. Meanwhile, enjoy the game while there's not that many people playing. Less players = less lag and connection issues. When the player count increases again, you might have trouble trying to move into Int1.

 

I'm still in Toram just to look at my character

 

Im on toram waiting them to release the avatar I like, lvl cap and new skills basically.
