Nah, katana can fight perfectly fine even without tank. I dare say, tanks are more of a hindrance to them than help.

I've lost count of how many times my zantei got screwed by tank's interruptions

 

This is a result of missed communication that often happens on random party. It could easily be solve by tank asking if katana is a zantei build or katana informing the party he/she uses zantei though it might be added on tanks shoulder enduring more skills than canceling some with interupt

 

Or the katana can let the tank know beforehand, to only interrupt when necessary

The number of times I've seen dead katanas complain no tanks is a lot despite knowing they don't want a tank around ._.

I don't think 2h needs VIT unless you wanna tank or go for a mid tank build. Current 2h with lvl 4 skills is actually can be done long range with the combo: buster blade>berserk save>imp con>meteor smite>trigger swift. Buster blade can be initiated with 9m distance at hand and u go in do meteor and take some distance. You can simply dodge aoes while doing normal attacks. DPS 2h are just not meant to be a tank with berserk and rampage cause they will lower your def/mdef to 0 anyways but still most of the cases end up tanking in pt cause of their huge aggro. In that case, u will still have high chance of survivability cause u will be spamming buster blade which will recover 1k hp every time. You should also try getting some +hp ava stats. I literally have 3k hp on my 2h and with a switch of ava gears, I can have +3k more hp +buff u could get around 7k-8k hp.

 

And I dont think Pau is talking about hp. Afaik he is currently talking about high survivability concept, which can be interpreted as many things.

First buster can be casted at 7m its not categorized as long range skill and second lets dont count ava stats its just for rich pep with chanse of spend orbs in getin that sweet stats. Rich kid builds for rich kids builds, global builds for rest of players.

All I've ever been able to get are from compensation, all orbs go to storage or once in a while orb shop gambling

Cause i see someone sparring with me they stat use str rest to dex. And always spamming combo. While combo is have a berserk as a saver and berserk= deff low. So uknow what i mean. Hehe. Die and died

 

Try from guilds. Guild gifts have fairy sewing tool. However it takes a LOT of points for just 1.
