40vit vs 40dex
40vit will give you roughly 2.5k hp
40dex will give you roughly 60attck

So choose your poison...

However am one of those freaks who likes adding vit on my build, i'd even added ampr in a moment of ecstatic trance... VIT is bae YOLO!!!

 

same. I'm one of dodging is gay so I always add 50vit(minimum) and use iconos and vita 3. 1st time in Zahhak, I died cos of that 40+K fatal in hard.lmao

 

Yeah I don't mind taking a shot or two for the tank if it helps him
If I'm able to I try to get aggro or would try to interrupt the boss(had smash instead of fist then) just to give them some time to relax
Survivability outweighs damage for me

I'm an archer with 5k hp (pot included). I don't die unless in middle of combo or the demn mobs block my sight and i can't see the red/blue or other members in pt die and the monsters chase me around. I wish other classes people consider putting vit in, i don't wanna die while trying to revive them.

 

I only have 25 vit at level 102 and I find I still die a lot as a katana user. Definitely adding some more vit.

 

tbh i think the main issue is just people using builds they see on youtube/forums without actually understanding the logic behind it. Each build and stat distribution has a different purpose. Each player plays differently. Not everyone is able to dodge - those who can't do so reliably should either learn the boss's patterns better, and those who dont mind taking damage can add VIT as their stat. Everyone loves a 2h merc that also has high HP. If you have good reflexes and prediction abilities, then you can rely on your knowledge of the attack patterns to choose the most optimal time to fire off a combo while still being able to avoid (major) damage. Everyone thinks differently so everyone should build differently.

I think you just shouldn't aim for what the 2s OP players do (hi kronus, yuki, nakano and arewzo). They dont die and have high DPS because the build is theirs - they know what it can and can't do.

EDIT: also learn to set your potions high enough so you always have enough HP to take the boss's most devastating attack.

 

So i really have been thinking about adiing vit to my 2hand build lvl120 im running wal sword str7atk7crd7 +a holyrobe c7151515 tyrant 6% atk with york an muslce ring eerie plan on gettinf tapir. I was wonderimg qould i really notice the dmg def if i add like 30 vit insted of dex ..thanks for the help

Vit adds hp. It won't really prevent damage, but you can take a bit more

 

Is mage with Two-Handed Skill counted as 2H? ( ；∀；)

 

I know it add hp im just wondering if ill know the dmg def instead of addimg the skill points to dex

 

I dont have any problem with hp cuz have integridar so i don't know how badly the others can die in boss battle

 

30 Dex = 39 Atk(+32% Atk), 3% Stability, 30 Hit

30 Vit = 1650 HP(Lvl 165), 30 Def

 

I think they die cuz combo too long thats also happens

 

I like short combos cuz have more time to move and dodge
