Alchemist Skills: xxx's Bottles Differences?

I found Novice's Bottle, Craftman's Bottle, and Synthesist's Bottle in the alchemist skill tree.
afaik, the prof~limit is 50 without skills, and currently, the max prof~limit is 100, right?
So, If I had increased:
+ 5 Novice's Bottle
+ 5 Craftman's Bottle
I would have had my prof~limit up to 100?
and will Synthesist's Bottle be any useful if the prof~level is still maxed at 100?
Or if there are things I misunderstood, please correct me.

The max proficiency isn't capped at 100. My friend has an alchemist character that I use from time to time, and its proficiency is 101 currently.

 

So, by increasing the Synthesist's Bottle by 5, I'll have the prof~limit up to 125 then?
(Assume that the current prof~limit is not less than 125.)

 

I'd assume so. My own actual alchemist is only at 87 proficiency still, so I can't test. I only use friends Alch for 3 locking. Lol
