Alchemist/Tec bs Hybrid

Level 100 character to buy all the alchemy and blacksmith skill levels currently available
255 Tec to maximize stat adding, refining and item crafting proficiency, put leftover stat points into Dex if you want to make a 4 Lock and in future update 5 Lock char as well
You can choose any character type but this character will be pretty useless in combat until higher level cap

Extra note: If you don't have a farmer with process materials you'll need to learn that skill as well. You can also max the 3 anvils and 2 creation skills to sell equipment apps

Nice guide. Im planning on a alchemist/tamer hybrid. Will this be possible? Ive maxed tamer skills (no support), added most alchemist skills except last two bottles (do i need to max all three?) And going to add synth skills when lvl up further (lvl65).
What do i need from blacksmith tree? Hoping to hear your input^^
Btw, i saw a tamer hybrid build from karrin i think... but cant find it now.

 

Thanks, yes it's possible if you just use the skill points in the Tamer skill tree instead of learning the blacksmith skill tree and the last 2 bottles are only necessary if you want to make a 4lock or 5lock(at higher level cap) synthesis.

P.s. at level 130 if you learn the blacksmith skills in the ss, max all alchemy skills besides the last 2 bottles available and only learn the cage skills without learning pet hp/mp recharge you can use the same character for taming, adding stats, refining, and 3lock synthesis ^^

 

If i want to be a +13 stater, do i need max bs prof or just max tech without bs prof?

Possibly but I personally have never tried beyond +B so I can't answer that question. Try asking someone who sells +S refine ^^

@Barzeft what personal stat should a synt have? I have a full tech smith but i f@$ked up so bad with its skill points. I can't afford an oblivion book/notebook atm so im thinking if i could use my luck farmer as synthesis for 3lock and potion crafting

 

Should be tec personal stat for synth. Tec increases difficulty and boosts success rate while Luk has no affect on synth ^^

For anyone interested in making a full production class hybrid here's some screenshots of the skill point allocation. You'll need a level 130 Character, 255 Tec, I suggest Dex for secondary stat, can pick any weapon class and need at least 176 skill points(1st skill point will be automatically placed in your weapon tree choice)

 

like u said dex is for 4/5 lock
but can other stats be useful for bs stuff like dex?

Dex also gives potential for Bowgun, Bow, 1hs and Katana like Xellos told you in his guide plus Dex also increases difficulty and at higher level cap when we can max 2 stats you can have a crafter, statter, refiner(for 0-B at least) an 3-5 lock synth character all in one. Could also go Vit, Str, Int or Agi secondary stat however your synth will stop at 3 lock(4 lock if you use full Dex gear for Alchemy) until more Alchemy recipes are added but beyond only other things that will change are the gear you craft and your item difficulty won't be as high.
For farming mana is Cassy at A2 Empress Tomb and some Events they haven't added any new decent farming spot I'm aware of, for wood and med I usually farm Pova at Lonogo Canyon but there's other areas with stronger mobs later in the game that are good as well, I farm Euris in Lonogo Canyon or Skeletons in Zoktzda Ruins for beast, Zoktzda Skeletons, Fort Solfini Skeletons or Ribisco Cave Goblins for metal and Farfalla in Drakanon Plain or Cassy in Empress Tomb A2 for cloth. For everything except mana there's higher level mobs later in the game that may be better but are more difficult to farm. ^^
