If you're a dps oriented shield-mage (full int+dex) then ribbon headband is better for you , though dps wise it will make slightly 1-2% weaker, but it'll keep the aggro away which will give you more room for dps-ing. Meanwhile if you are a semi tank oriented (full int + vit) then curled horn might be better since it'll allow you to get aggro to tank for your pt.

Curled horn is better.

I guess it's a matter of preference, and at lower lvls, you might find this build rather hard to fully appreciate given that you'd be lacking the necessary skill points to max essential skills (e.g. Quick Draw). You might find yourself using Oblivion Notebook/Books at least once at a later point when you've realized that you should've put more pts on one skill than what you have invested on so far.

How d u get so many skill points by emblems?!? ( I just got 137 (included emblems) at lvl 95 ) pls repl me. I need more skill points to build mage like this.

 

hi... I was wondering which Staff is the strongest now.

 

Scrader Mace has the highest weapon atk but but no stats for matk.
Devil's Staff has the highest matk increase but costs you 200 hp.

Devil's Staff is just magical and currently the strongest at that.
Folium Staff too, but also increases attack speed.
Crystal Wand is good with shields/heavy armor and DEX stats.
Scrader Mace is good for physical power, but also has the highest cast speed.

 

Correction , Ice staff is the strongest staff now with 101+ base, second is devil staff due to scrader mace's poor stability , devil staff will provide higher damage. 3rd is scrader mace.

 

Red fox doesn't know anything about player crafted staves or armors etc, he only refers to the NPC craft or boss dropped versions of everything

 

i don't like playercrafted weapons.
at least not the ones currently on the market
they never have what i want and cost so much that i would rather buy an xtal istead...

consodering the best playermade staff...
that would be a double slotted ice staff with gambled stats where the negatives turned 0 or positive because it failed but without reducing the positives.
but only until a higher pot staff is released, then you desperately try to sell it and the the whole affair starts again

 

Quick Draw still works or not at consecutively combos?!?
I'm just wondering if it doesn't work at combos for mage
I wanna try that skill but it costs total 20 skill points to max lv Quick Draw.
