Is this item good for mages in comparison to bandage eyepatch, Cat Ear Hood, and Curled Horn?

 

there already is a long disscussion thread about that.
and the anwser was: none is better than the other, because it depends on what stats you have and what you want.

also, it's name is Auniguma

 

First let's clear which one is better in terms of dps.
Let's assume you have the ff. stats :
1500 raw matk(weapon dmg included)
255 int
42 Dex
Anniv 3 @90 (60% stab)

Bandage Eyepatch (3% MATK INT AND WEP ATK)
would give you the ff.
3% matk = 45
3% int = 7.65 int = 30.6 matk
3% wep atk = 2.7matk
Total : 78.3 more matk
Magic Stability is 80%
Your dmg would range from 1262 to 1578

Aunigma (5% MATK , DEX+2%)
would give you the ff.
5%matk = 75
2%dex = 0.9dex = ???
Total : 75 matk
Magic Stability is 80%
Your dmg would range from 1260 to 1575

Curled Horns (4% MATK , 8% Stab)
4% matk = 60 matk
Total : 60 matk
8% stab + 60%(wep stab) = 68% total stab
68% + 100 = 168% ÷ 2 = 84% Magic Stability
Magic Stability is 84%
Your dmg would range from to 1310 to 1560

Remember: bandage might've beaten aunigma but remember , as the raw matk gets higher after a few caps , aunigma would eventually beat bandage.

Time to go in further for stability to determine the winner between this two :

Having 80% stab would give you 21 different values of dmg from 80% - 100%
Each value differs by 0.9524..%
The 21 dmg values are the ff :
1262 , 1277 , 1292 , 1307 , 1322 , 1337 , 1352 , 1368 , 1383 , 1398 , 1413 , 1428 , 1443 , 1458 , 1473 , 1488 , 1503 , 1518 , 1533 , 1548 , 1563 , 1578

Curled Horn :
Having 84% stab would give you 17 different values of dmg from 84% - 100%
Each value differs by 0.9411..%
The 17 dmg values are :
1310 , 1325 , 1339 , 1354 , 1369 , 1384 , 1398 , 1413 , 1428 , 1457 , 1472 , 1486 , 1501 , 1516 , 1531 , 1545 , 1560

Final result : When using bandage eyepatch , there's a higher chance of you dealing lesser dmg than dealing higher dmg against curled horns. Winner is curled horn.

Now the question is would you rather choose dps (curled horn) over cspd(cat-earhood)?
Answer : if you pick dex as your secondary after maxing int then it is highly advisable for you to use curled horn , but if you pick vit as your secondary , then pick cspd because you'll have no means of gaining cspd aside from potion which is not sufficient by itself to reach the 1200 cspd.
