Are drop rates shared/distributed throughout the party?

Sorry for the newbie question. I'm not sure if this is the correct place fo post but I searched for a a Q/A thread or subforum and couldn't find anything. Anyways, I have always wondered, are mob and boss drops shared throughout the party or are they distributed individually? Meaning, is there a loss of item rate if you team with a full party size?

Also, I'm curious about drop rate books and modifiers..They seem to stack... what is the drop rate cap for them? I would also assume thry stack additively, not multiply-ly?

 

Each player gets separate drops unlike some MMOs where drops are only 1 and must be shared among the party members.

Having a Party when doing Boss Runs can net you an extra item/drop if you get a Rank so it is always better to have a party when farming. And there is also a drop rate bonus if you do a Boss run with full party.

Books, Tickets, Non-special Gems are combined additively before multiplying to your base drop rate. E.g. 100% Ticket + 100% Books = 1% drop rate * (1 + (100 + 100) / 100) = 1% * 3 = 3%

Special Drop Gems(Rare Drop - 1%, Super Rare Drop - 25%, Legend - 50%, Glory - 75%, Ultimate - 100%) adds a fixed amount of drop rate to your base. Yes, you get 100% drop rate on all loots if you use Ultimate Gem.

 

On this note and adding to what was already told. DO NOT BELIEVE THAT LUK AFFECTS PARTY DROP RATE.

It's a personal stat, meaning that the person with high luk would be the only one garnering from its benefit, not the whole party, hence the stat being "personal".

I didn't even know there was a drop rate bonus tbh. How much of a increase is it?

 

I might be misremembering but it was supposed to be datamined stuff back in 2015(so it might not be relevant now). Can't remember how much of an increase nor confirm if it is credible though, so take it with a grain of salt.

 

There is no special boost to drop rate with a party.

I've tested 1 easily testable thing there, the one that also gives Exp +25%(Untouchable), just to be sure and nope no additional Exp.

 

Is this actually how the mechanic for LUK actually works? I've heard so many people explain LUK differently. But it's kinda hard to tell cuz drops are sent from the server.....

 

Luck 255 is equivalent to around a 50% drop rate book active at all times

exp increases with each broken part.
drop rate is only raised for certain items when breaking certain parts.
you can see on the info screen which items get a boost, but it doesn't tell you which part to break.
getting any 1st rank gives you 1 extra drop, but only once. there is no benefit in scoring multiple ranks.

like any other drop, the ranking reward is personal.
gems are the only shared drop and exp boosters, anything else is personal.
