    Hello, this is naripoo.

(plus, getting money here is hard..)
    SO...
I was wondering if i should start an art shop. Here are some of my artwork.
Please let me know if you would buy one or not and also tell me how much you think they should be worth.

    o.o They're very cute~~~ Great drawings! >w< I wish I could draw that well... ^ ^;
... I feel like I should know more of these. At least, uh... Rena! I recognize... The bow! (Actually that is what made me link that at first...)
Only thing about an "art shop" is... How would you distribute the art... Also if you post them up like that, shouldn't you at least watermark them or make them low-res to make an "art shop" viable? Otherwise it would be pointless to sell it since people could just rip the image straight off the post. You could do commissions, I suppose. Like have someone request a drawing of a certain thing for so-and-so amount of spina or real money 'cause, you know. Money. Haha. I love the idea of an art shop, but it's a rather difficult thing to set up in actuality, especially for a game that doesn't allow art-related customization. If it were, say... Animal Crossing, where you can design your outfits and whatnot, then the art shop would work splendidly (and I do believe you can actually purchase player-created designs in that game).
Well, to ask another question that might invalidate the above paragraph... What is your idea of an "art shop," in this case?
On a side note, it seems a lot of them are from 2010?

I don't know if Toram is ready for an Art shop yet. I know that other sites and games have things like this and I even ran my own art shop on Gaia.

@Kanameru is right though, the best way to make sure you don't get scammed and people don't just steal your work would to do it by commision. But I do see you are signing your own pieces so I don't think a water mark is nessecary.

You could probably get a good chunk of change for commisioning avatar drawings and banners for players and guild. You might want to lean more towards using something photos hop though for banners because usually people will want very specific details and sizes. Plus actual drawings don't translate that we'll to banners. You would have to charge less for banners and things like that (i.e. sprite art) since it's not as difficult as actually drawing out a character.

Best of luck, maybe you could be the first Art Shop for Toram!!

Most of the drawings here are from Ragnarok Online. :) Ive made several art shops a long time ago.
I usually just posted the artwork on the art thread, i didnt have a problem not having watermarks.
Yes, they are going to be commissions. It could be other characters from different games, or friends. i just need to have god reference for me to work with. I believe selling for real money is prohibited so i will probably charge them spina or orbs (dont know how those work;; still new to the game)

The art shop is basically a thread there i accept commissions. It could be game related or non game related (not sure if they dont allow if its not game related though;;).
If its game related, they will have to post a front and back screenshot of their character on the thread. they can also give me a sketch for certain alterations for their character. as long as i know what they want.
The prices will vary depending on the type of drawing. For example, Chibi B/W sketch, chibi color, adult portrait B/W, Adult portrait color, 2 character sketch, etc..

Hope that explained your questions. :)

hm... never really made avatars or banners........ OTL....

I think your art is definitely very qt and you are pretty skilled. I would love to order a chibi from you if you do open shop xd.
I also think it would be wise to only start peoples commisions after recieving payment / a portion fo the payment, for your own safety.
    But good luck to you~

Luving that picture spam^^. You draw so cleanly. ( I can do digital art, and my pencil art always ends up smeary, so I end up having to ink it, and/or color it.) I'm trying see if I can just ink them and color them digitally. But anyways ur amazing dude.
