Well I have checked out a few different titles by asobimo and have noticed tho they only seem to make MMO rpg based games, many of the games are fundamentaly different. So far I started out with Izanagi rpg and played that for about a week or so enjoyed the mechanics of the game especially the Dodge skill with the assassin class but I found the translation rough so I was less than drawn into the story. I moved on from that to toram and have been going strong since as there's just so much to like about it tho as with all games tho its my go to game there's obviously a list of things I would like to see added or done differently, for example character movement in battle I have yet to find a dodge skill ( I want to say there isn't one but don't know every skill in every tree) and it bugs me that you can't jump while being targeted as this would be key in avoiding aoe, but over all its the best mobile MMO I've played thus far. More recently I gave avabel a try to see how that was put together, again like izanagi the game had good mechanics I like the smoothness of the combat. But when it comes to the other side of the experience I found the tutorial extremely long and lacking in certain points, the translation also felt rough making it a bit of a confusing story line tho I don't recall really catching any real story or plot line just quests and dungeon crawling. I found the city or base was to crowded with npcs it can be daunting to try and remember who's who and where they are. And my biggest issue with avabel is too many of the weapons and armours have the exact same appearance and it takes a
Way to long before you can do any character customization at all. I basically got on the idea for this thread after reading a bit about alchemia story and almategia and noticing some of the key feature that they will have like 50vs50 PvP battles which sounds just a bit crazy or the turn based real time combat with helper system not a huge fan of anything turn based so I'm already holding some negative judgement on that basis

So what asobimo games have you tried? What makes them different from some of the other titles? What did you like or dislike? Let's get a discussion on the go!

1st...that's a lot of reading
2nd avabel doesn't really have a storyline, it's mainly a combat oriented game.
3rd I played all the eng ones....and some JP ones (•_•)

1)Yea sorry some of my posts draw on I just try to get it out in one go rather than adding a new post everytime a new thought pops up...
2)thought so seemed kinda like a plot less crawler
    3) is there slight variation in the mechanics of all the games or do any use a similar control layout?
4)nothing at work on the forum because talking about RPGs beats working.....

Tbh, Izanagi is one of less good ones, the combat is good but has dumb features that make gameplay annoying in the long run

If you dong mind the lower graphics and less flashy combat, then Iruna is kinda fun

I'm used to that and turn based strategy rpgs. Literally played FFX on PS2 enough to beat it 100+ times

Yea I felt with Izanagi and avabel all they had going for them was combat outside of that it was lacking....

Is Iruna worth a back track to give a once over? And are the servers still populated or has it died down as newer games have come out?

Due to the afition of a stahl function, Rokoko and other selling towns became less populated.
And with stuff like party raid, group said, guild raid it's got fun side stuff

And how about a whole server raid? :3

After I got done with toram alpha and beta I let whoever that came behind me do the rest
I stop playing mobile games when I lost my phone so I started focusing on school and then I got into league or legends
    So its been like 3-4years

Iruna is much much older but let's you see the world of total before all the crazy stuff happens you also will see characters like Sofia in there mortalish forms

I'm not a great fan of turn based combat either but when I played a 3 day beta, or was it alpha, last year of alchemia I thought it was a bit fun and I liked the character customisation but the best asobimo game out there or any mmorpg so far has for me been Toram. Currently bored out by toram tho and can't find a drive in it at the moment so I'm currently only rarely playing.
