If I ever see you online, I'll add you. Since I love non-mainstream builds. Most player believed mainstream builds are the only way to play the game. In truth, it's not.

I myself exploring other fun build, the process of learning and researching is what I think beautiful.

 

People who only know what's meta are terrible players anyway.. the same people can't manage their aggro outside of guardian. Don't be sad! You saved yourself the head ache of playing with plebian noobs.

Agree. Actually this build is really fun. Can hold agro near or far.(tested on venene) just have to let others knw what kind of tank i am.^^

Finally! This is the thread I've been looking for! A bowgun tank utilizing diver's bowgun! I've been looking all over the forums and youtube for this . I'm also planning to make a bg+shield tank using diver's bowgun. Also since it doesn't have -150% critdamage stats we can also potentially use this as a fun boss soloing build lol. Keep up the good work! Hopefully more players will try out bowgun tank builds too, it's a pity that diver's bowgun is an event only item

 

I like event only items... it makes me feel like I'm special...

 

This is actually better than most 1h and knuck tank. You basically saves sp to get more ampr and doesn't need to learn power wave. I had to give up sanctuary to learn max trigger, power wave, and rampage...

 

Tanks are in such high demand they're hard to find, good tanks even rarer you should lead the party! The few occasions I tanked on Titeres I kicked a lot of obvious luck mages, and selfish cf users that waited for mobs to be cleared instead of help kill them to get attacker rank. Nobody complained from my actions, I was even praised for it. However tanking Tite - chan is a pain with a knuck tank so I now stick playing as dps..

 

You will end up becoming party leader if you are a tank... most inexperienced dps players tend to quit after failing

About the gears, I've noticed that you're using the drop version of charm belt, but isn't the npc version better? it gives 20% magic resistance and 350 mp, slightly more than the drop version

 

Adds 5ampr (according to tino. 1st page paps.tino explained how much ampr hehheeh)

Coz i bought tht 2s charm for only 26-27m iirc since i started this build. I remember tino suggested it.and saw a 2s 1on cb. Hehehe

 

Nah... Good tanks make sure the boss is facing away from dps, prorate and walk away from directed attacks instead of spamming CC skills if no dps is in danger of being hit. The best tanks can do all of what I mentioned and not die.

The worst kind of tanks are those that aggro, run around dps and gets everything and everyone killed in his wake.
