Been scammed

I was going to do a Legendary Pierce for some kid and traded him my ganglef for insurance he gave 600k and outerworld armor and left. He ran away with my ganglef and now I'm pissed. What can I do.

 

The chat seems to prove it. you can add him to kariin's scammers list so others are not affected as much

unfortunately, you cannot get back your stuff. accept it and farm it back

 

This is why I hesitate to give a large amount of insurance. Usually I'll ask for value they expect for insure and if it exceeds my set value I drop the discussion. Trust yourself, not the other party.

I feel your pain, I made the insurance mistake the other day as well, just remember it so you learn something to never do anything like that again. If he just stole your ganglef but gave you 600k at least it wasn't a huge loss. You should sell that legendary for more btw some people sell them for 30+mil

 

I did seems like no one wants to buy it.

When I sold my OHS the trade went just fine~ I did the slotting and for the money, no insurance involved~ that customer can confirm that I'm trusted~. Well if someone tries to scam me by not giving enough I will always try too keep an eye out and if the guy persist on not paying me then I will take the item I just slotted as payment~ (note that its rare for me to sell extractions and/or piecers in the first place).

 

I too was scammed by a guild member I asked for lightelement to be added on my md the person quit the guild and took my stuff name was XRTM J or close to that sad thing is I would've given them spina if they asked for it

U mean legendary needle?
The way that he gave u an outerworld armor, not high def slot armigma or brigandine itself is already suspicious.
I sold my leg needle before. And I always turned down those that gave me armor lower than armigma or brigandine. In the end, someone bought my piercer with her high def slot armigma to pierce.

For next time, there is a safer way to sell ur piercer. Its by buying ns or 1s then pierce it and sell at board. Ofc it will give u much less profit tho. But its the safest way if u r too afraid.

I think ganglef sell for 800k to 1m ... if he gave u 600k and also outerworld armor.... its not intentional scam i think ...if i was in his place and wanted to scam i would have waited for u to pierce armor and send me trade req before disappearing

This is why I agree with @Alzarith that insurance is annoying since many people ask for too much and some of them will do as the guy that scammed you did running off as soon as the first trade is complete as if they just sold a lower value item for more than it's actual price

Also, that first conversation was super duper sketch. "I give 600k. Oh, 10m? I give 9.5m now." Would've immediately blocked him there. There's a difference between lowballing and scamming. Oneis someone trying to rip you off for a better price.
"5k per nc stack." "That's too cheap." "Ill do 10k then." "Wow wat a deal" > "omg i got scamm" "no, you got ripped off because you're too stupid to know the price."
Another is just gonna take everything.
"5k for nc stack pls" "thats too cheap" "ok 40k" "wow, a too good to be true deal! Ill take it" > "omg i got scamm" "pls stop telling us about your stupid ventures"
