Hello everybody! I've been reading a lot of threads I have some questions. What is the best Knuckles to use? Right now I'm not doing much with my brawler character. I was thinking think redoing my stats and stuff. Might make 2 brawlers. But tank really seems to be the best job for this class.

What makes Drill so good? Is it good for a tank? And what drops them?

Say goodbye to damage if you'll be using drills, but in return you get c.rate+100.

Dropped by Moonlight Potum in Mauez Area. ^_^

Then why so heavily suggested? Just because of the crt rate? I'm using the volcano knuckles right now.

C.rate helps you not to miss, for keeping aggro. ^_^

100 crit rate from just your weapon works well because you don't need to invest into any other crit gear or stats. You'll be able to itemize completely into survival stats this way. Damage also doesn't attribute to aggro. MP usage of skills does, so having no damage doesn't matter much to someone that's playing a pure tank.

Combine those all together and you get
    Full Vit maybe full mnt/agi/int/ect.
    Full damage reduction.
Put a shield on for perfect guard
and the crit rate to land all flinch/tumble/stuns/autos for ampr.
After that spam buffing skills from there and your pretty much golden for any tank situation.

This also works for swords as they have a 100 crate one handed sword as well.
If you look at the skills and look at what makes logical sense as OP tank skills, you'll be fine. Just don't focus on damage at all. Everyone will love you for meta farm parties, since they won't have to.

Unless you want to play a semi tank. Than it's more complicated and you will never use Drills ever.

I gotcha. Tanks aren't meant for damage anyways, they attract attention. Hold the focus of mobs and boss while dps and crowd control does there jobs.

Yeah I read the pure tank build and guide. Just worried about damage while on my own. That's why the questions before a start buying good gear. XD

Well, pure tanks aren't the only way to go these days. Semi tanks are gaining popularity, since Perfect Guard may as well render you immortal in most encounters.

Don't worry about naking some kind of pure tank until your established. They aren't at all nessacary early game and are only necessary in some extreme circumstances.
