All difficulties have the same drop so normal for fast runs

Higher difficulty, higher % of base drop rates, but if you want to do normal, it's okay cos not much difference and fast runs

No one knows the drop rate. So there isn't a sure fire way to get rare xtals from bosses. We need to understand that the game will be adjusting the drop rate, otherwise the market would be flooded with xtals.

Since the release, we have had a lot of people farming all sorts of bosses. Yet the consignment board is not raining rare boss xtals and decreasing the value. So be aware that macro-economic forces are playing behind the scene. Unless you get cash shop gems, we're unsure of the base rate.

An example from my own time:
>Farming Roga since Roga update.
>Not one xtal drop
>Used drop books +700%
>Still not xtal drop.
>In that time I have brought two Roga xtals

So, the fastest way to get rare xtals is to burn through avatar items. I'd say invest $10000 US into the game, and you will have all the xtals you want within the week.

Okay, to be honest, don't care about all that, just pray for luck and you might get an xtal even in random normal farms XD

I apologize for not seeing that as humour, cos I saw that as you are showing off and mocking us poor people for not affording to spend 10kUSD for a mere game unlike you

Normal is more efficient since there's no direct % how much the drop rate increases on increasing difficulty. If it'll take you 1-2mins max on normal, 5-7mins on nightmare, I'll still take normal as it is more fast and not much frustrating.

 

How to farm xtals. camp @ ganglef or something. farm yourself to death. give up, decide to try warmonger. go through the underground channel, and genespent drops an xtal.
PS. didn't really happen this way to me. instead, I got fed up and started farming mino, got an xtal. and once was going through underground ch, I decided to do ultimate gens just for fun. I got a disgusting green B staff

 

I usually farm on NM just for the heck of getting dyes too aside from xtals. But, if it's xtal and xtal only, i would recommend normal runs.
