If my bs without TEC, can I still craft a atk7%,cr1212%,cd12?

 

I do not recommend it because tec allows you to add negative stats & the more tec you have the better potential return you receive.

I want to be a armor crafter,what stat and what equipment I need to have?

Success of crafts increase 1% for EVERY 10 STR. Added these to gears for smiths that do not benefit from a dex% stat.

Yes, DEX on 1st stat, get DEX 250. In fact, also get +DEX weapon, +DEX armor, etc.

Then you should choose: TEC or STR.
TEC will improve your success rate. This is best for a bowgun-only bs.
STR will help you make bows and one-handed swords.

However, AGI is bad for a bowgun bs, it will not help.

 

Ohh i justt putt all stat to dex. Then other point go to tec stat. I got it.

Well, if i'm mage and i want to make an i7m7 staff i need to max the INT? And the rest of stat points goes to TEC?

 

does equip stats help with increasing pot? like, equipping +12 vit (weapon and armor) will give additional pot when crafting armors.

 

Why just i7m7 when you can make i127m7. Anyways if you wanna craft staff then go for 250int rest tech

Nope. But adding dex gears will increase your success rate.

This guide is truly a lifesaver, thank you very much.
I just have one question. I currently have 35 prof and my difficulty with dex equips and tech amounts to 51. Ive just finished my 2nd stack fine sand and will start crafting rapiers. Now if i understand your guide correctly, i will effectively gain 20-30% exp until my prof reaches 55-56 whereas the exp will start to lessen to lower then 15% per craft. And at 60 i will stop receiving exp. So by than i should effectively have 76 difficulty?Correct me if im wrong on this.

 

What aboit refinement? If I want to get better at refining equipment do I need a completely separate BS with tech 255? Does tech increase success in refinement?

 

Yes Ronny, max Tech to increase success in refinement. Max Luck to decrease degrading rate in refinement.

 

Refining and statting are best accomplished by a character with TEC 255; for statting, also level the character up to 120. However, this character does *not* need to raise their blacksmith proficiency. (Of the handful of refiner-statters I know, literally all of them made their refiner-statter character into a synth.)

If you want to refine to +A/+S, you may also want yet another completely separate character, this one with LUK 255. (Upon learning this, I decided I'd rather just not bother, so I don't know if you also need to level the LUK character up. My intuition says no, but I can ask and get back to you.) This is because at such high difficulty, you run up against the minimum success rate of 1% regardless of your TEC, and LUK reduces how far the item's refinement degrades when you fail.
