same thing but the multiple amount of nothing (almost nothing) is still nothing (almost nothing) ewe
So books dun really affect rare drops like weap dye or xtals

I mean it hardly affects xtals and wrap dyes due to their rarity. If u take an extremely low number times 0.5 (50% droprate book) it will still be extremely low. So what I'm saying is that u shouldn't waste dropbooks if ur aiming for xtals or weap dyes.

What they're trying to say is, for example the xtal drop rate is 0.50% +50% (book) = 1% drop rate on xtal. So yea, basically if you're aiming for xtal, you shouldn't waste a book for it. But then again, its up to you. ^^,

    actually it's 0,5*1,5=0,75 :p
a 50% drop rate book multiplies the drop rate by 1,5 =(^.^)=

In fact it only multiplies for 0.5, but because it scales of of your base its 1+0.5 ;)

In a way he certainly did; but correctly speaking I didn't quite think 1.5 equalizes 50% because that 50% (= 0.5) is added to your base which is 1 (100%)

it comes down at the same, but I just added some info to avoid confusion; guess that didn't quite make the cut though

Basic math says that anything +50% (PLUS FIFTY %) can be considered as a 1.5times multiplier.
    (+50%of any value lets say k = k + 50k/100 = k(1 + 50/100) = k(1 + 0.5) = k(1.5))
Though dont mind me i am just being a math nerd.

I guess you might say that; but I just wanted to make clear its not 1+1.5 multiplier

    %=x
    x/100
    if xtal drop is 0.1=y
    (50/100)y
    .5 x .1 = .05
add the base drop to the additional drop
    .05 x .1 = .15

Oh my... my poor tiny brain hurts.
    Please cmiiw:
Let's say we have 10% base drop rate of certain item, so...
    • Additon to base drop rate of 50% is 15% (books, tickets)
    • Increment to base drop rate of 50% is 60% (gems)
    no?o_O

Correct except the fact that the gem when it says "increase" it increases TO that number (e.g. Using glory gem will make all items drop rate = 75% on their individual roll not increase BY 75% which explains why i never get anything on the rare drop gem "1%" will make everything 1% drop rate) Also the increase becomes fixed and can not be affected by any book or ticket that you use during a gem run.

Oh, Thanks!;) Imo, rather than "Increase" they should have use "Make" or "Change" instead. "Change the drop rate of all items to 50% when used" make more sense to me.
