bow user that uses magic atks??

a friend of mine the other day got me laughing on an idea in her head about making a bow mage as she called it. one that can do bw skills and mage skills. would anyone care to discuss the idea? i'd love your thoughts. im definitely telling her to make an account and read this over.

Int bow mage hybrid or whatever your friend is thinking will be a lot weaker than actual staff mages.
So bows should just stick with shot skills as main dps and keep magic skills for proration only.

Just imagine when Bow/Bowgun arrow users with max Dex and Str stat and start adding INT stat and use magic arrow skill buff *from the hunter's Skill Tree*, they will be even stonger.

 

Nope still not.
Coz bows dont add any matk from wep atk even if they cap int their matk would be no where near a staff users. Cant equip md either to get any boost to magic skills so they will be weaker in general.
also they will be glassy af without vit for that long.

I have seen that skill in a few videos it is a buff skill that only affects auto attacks not shot skills maybe can work with additional magic% stat.
Unless maybe theres more shot skills that get affected by matk directly I wont recommend adding int on bow.

 

Just a potential ideal in the future when the game becone more developed for bow/bowgun users using arrows as sub.

 

Pointless talking about future imo coz anything can happen when u have a producer like suzuki.
As of now the only magic physical hybrid that can actually work is staff fu storm kicker.

 

Well to be fair, the devs have already, and are planning to bring back many skills, weapons and aspects from iruna. Iruna did have a weapon type called "Special Bow". It was basically a bow that grew from int and matk so, anythings possible really. Theyre bringing back a lot of things tbh

 

Problem is , bows bg swords doesnt convert its wep atk to matk , so no matter how strong your weapon is , you wont benefit a single matk from it , your only source of matk would be from stats.
This is one of the primary reason that kills hybrid on toram , so not unless they change this , hybrid would still remain ded.

What if BG users will use magic device as sub ist it effective for the magic skills ? and will it cause higher dmg if you add INT?
