Brigandine armor

Ok I'm a tank, and the guides say that crafted Brigandine is best for tanking. I just hit level 70 thinking it would be there for crafting but it's not on my crafting list. Can someone tell me why? One person suggested that it's maybe because I haven't gotten far enough in the MQ?

If it's because I need to craft and up my blacksmith level to see the recipe, then this is gonna suck lol if this is the case then I will just start a second character I guess, but I personally hate to do that. Thank you for your impending answers!

 

try again if you reach L80 or 90. Maybe your level is not enough.

 

Well hitting level 70 unlocked levels70-90 crafting items. But maybe you are right too

 

This is right. Reaching level 70 unlocks the 70-90 section but only level 70 recipes and you actually have to level to 90 to unlock all recipes in the 70-90 section. Brigandine armor is item level 80 so your character has to be level 80 to craft it at NPC.
