Please find the tank you are looking for in my video based on the times listed.
    Hi there everyone,
My name is Caskadia and I’m a tank aficionado. Over my time in Toram, I’ve developed many tanks, and done many tests, now I’d like to share with you some of my best tanks that I’ve done and give you this guide in the hopes that everyone will try it out.
I give many thanks to Helquin, Atlass and Lunaski, as they support me in my tests and trials of trying to make better tanks.

There are basic skills that I almost always get with my tanks. These skills are Fighters High, Recovery, MP charge and Provoke.
    • Fighters High allows me to do large hp recovery when I get out of combat during boss battles. Yes, it is possible to force your character out of combat to allow for natural hp regen. Fighters High allows it to happen faster.
    • Recovery is the second tier skill after mini heal. It removes a debuff and can heal more debuff at higher levels. Generally, I leave this at level 1.
    • MP Charge is just a general use skill that lets me recover mana faster after the end of a boss fight.
    • Provoke is one of the best tank skills to use. It gives a huge boost in aggro and will pretty much allow you to aggro any boss with ease. I always max this to make the mp cost down to 200 mp.
As a note, I generally try to have high AtkSpd to deal with the proration of the whole team. Between my auto attacks and my skills, the proration of the whole team is generally always balanced.
    Without further ado, enjoy :D

Heal Tank: Stats – All into Vitality
    Skills:
    Magic Tree –
    10/10 MP charge

    Survival Tree –
    5/10 Safe Rest
    10/10 HP Boost
    1/10 Fighers High

    Support –
    10/10 Mini Heal
    1/10 Recovery

    Shield Tree –
    5/10 Shield Mastery
    5/10 Shield Stun
    10/10 Force Shield
    10/10 Magical Shield
    5/10 Protection
    5/10 Aegis

    Knight Tree –
    10/10 Provoke

    Priest Tree –
    5/10 Bless
    10/10 Gloria

    Combos:
    * = Consecutive bonus
    Protection > Aegis Shield*
    Shield Bash > Gloria (swift)

    Gear:
Ooze Staff (Boss drop)(xstal is potum king)
    mAtk +1%, Vit +4%, Max HP + 8%, Aggro -16%
    Kite Shield +6
Guard Rate +10%, Guard Power +22%, Map HP + 90
Plate Armor (Sofya BS made)(xstal is potum king)
    Max HP + 10%, Aggro + 10%, Motion Speed -10%
Ooze Helmet (boss drop) (xstal is potum king)
    Max HP + 10%, Natural HP Regen +10%, Ailment Resistance + 10%
Magician’s Ring (xtal is potum king)
    Max MP +1000, Atk -25%, mAtk -25%

The Heal Tank is one of the most effective tanks I’ve created. True to its’ name, it is a tank that heals itself actively to mitigate damage. In addition, I use MP charge + Provoke to always have aggro on the boss. This tank also comes with shield stun, Gloria, protection and aegis. By the way, to those of you who don’t know, protection and aegis, when combined, reduce all damage by 25%. Also, the timer of Gloria is a good indication of when Shield Bash can proc a stun again. I personally use the Gloria buff as an indication of when I can use shield stun again.

    4 things:

    1) Nice guide! ^^ Looks great! The video helps alot too!
    2) I'm curious about recovery. Are there a few situations that you like to use it often?
    3) Why Ooze Staff and not a 2-slot Rod or Morning Star?
    > 3 1/2) Do you prefer King Potum over other xtals, namely Excavated Golem?
    4) How effective is Level 5 Shield Bash compared to Level 1 Shield Bash?

I ask because I have a similar Tank build and curious about your reasons. ^^

I agree ooze staff is bad for tanks due to the -16% agro, if u have all melee toons spamming there combos on the same target ur gunna lose agro unless u spam provoke every 4-10secs, i wouldnt advise using it due to agro loss, unless something else had +15% agro, and higher lvls of shield bash isnt needed imo, lvl1 works just aswell if bosses havnt got rediculously high evade, i love my tank with 13,2k hp :p, but yes ooze may look appetising but i agree 2s rod or m.star is much better

The main situations I use recovery is in brutal dragon ansd volg. For one point, I think its quite worth it. I use ooze staff because I prefer it over a double slotted king potum due to it giving more benefits. The HP gain amount is higher than double slots, and I also get some def added from added vitality percentage. As for the -16% aggro, it is offset to 6% by my plate armor. And, since I can spam provoke if I want to, I've never had a problem with maintaining aggro. As for shield bash, lv1 is fine, I just happen to want to max it eventually lol.

I focus on king potum xstals because of the large HP gain I get from them, around 500 I believe. I take this because, statistically, its better. If I gain 500 hp and take 5% more damage, its a small trade off. IE: the boss hits me for 100. It would hit me for 105 then, while I gain an extra 500 HP.

I've never had a problem with keeping aggro. The heal tank is specially made to spam heals and provoke.

Fighters high does not cause the high regen, its safe rest that increases the high healing. At max lv on my 2h tank, I heal for about 400 HP per 3 secs. So, I would assume you'd heal around that as well. Probably more since you have more HP.

don't you want the Stier (Mini Boss version) Base Def+30 Vit+2 MaxHP+15%
and Scale Armor (Boss Version) Def+5% Guard Power+5%, Ailment Resist+10%, Neutral Resist+10%, Critical Rate+5
and have you tried the Defence Up of Battle Skills?

Isn't safe rest based on base HP? If so bago should heal 890 standing and 1780 sitting at lvl 5 sr

It also depends on what tank I'm using, if I was tanking multiple mini bosses, I'd probably use my mage tank. Of course it depends on the other players aggro, but as I've said, I've never had a problem with it. Which is to say, I've never met such a player.

Yes to all except the scale armor. I've not had the time to farm a stier helm from mini boss. The scale armor is not as appealing to me as plate armor because of the HP gain. Since this heal tank needs high HP to do large mini heals, more HP equals easier heals\survival.

The def passives of battle tree are good, but I only recommend them if you have the points to spare. To me, the shield def\mdef passives are better to have.

I dont believe it is, I think its based on base vit HP. Chances are his HP is due to stats on armor, not just vitality. It also explains why my 2h tank heals 400-ish, since it uses no HP stat gear.

So if bago has 180+vit that's around 6.3k base hp, I dunno what lvl 10sr is tho as I've only got lvl7 or it could be 5

Its under my impression that 1 lv of safe rest = 10%. So lv10 is an extra 100%.
