I'm still thinking whether the slotted NPC version of Curled Horns is worth 1.5 million.

the boss vers has better stats and cheaper (unless price increased)
as for that u sacrifice 2%matk and 8% stab for 100mp and 300cspd
if u have dps gear and xtas on your other 3 equips, i would choose cat ear hood .u.

 

There's no better among those two , it's preferences that you are looking for. Just like choosing whether roga xtal or jade for your armor. Anyways depending on your playstyle , we could only give you insights.

Cat-ears giving cspd , will allow you to avoid getting flinched more often and will allow you to dish out dps more safely in a battle , it does come with +100mp and the more mp for mages the better you perform in a battle and it also comes with 2%matk which is good to shorten the matk disavantage as compare to other mage additional gears. Downside is this item does come with a -25% ailment resistance.

Meanwhile , curled horn is pure dps powerhouse item , it provides approx 10% more dps by just using this bad boy. There are no downsides or negative stats on this which is nice as compare to cat-ear.
