Character Names And Back Story's

I Met A Guy In Sofya And Said It Was Weird That I Gave My Characters There Own Names And Back Story's So I Was Wondering If Anyone Else Did/Does This?

 

My characters are named after different versions of the Nissan Silvia lol:Zenki Kouki 180sx 240sx s13 s14 s15

I name all of my characters by my favorites in an anime.

 

My character name was based on an anime character (Alisa Illinichina Amiella) from GodEater except I spelt it wrong by spelling it "Amei" instead of "Amie" (oops) T.T

 

S14 is my favorite body style

In-game, my name complements with an in game loot from Pico. But the truth of the matter is, that's not by design xD

Back from a year ago now, I came on Toram during alpha and had the same name. (rarely played tho, and I mostly soloed back then) This name was something I was using back in Iruna and I used it on toram too due to laziness on picking a new game name. LOL

Back in Iruna, I was going for a name that I thought would sound like a good name for "a character in a novel". I came up with a few, but most of em are either kinda overused/cliched like Lightning, Shadow, and Blaze, or kinda over the top like SwordGod, IceDemon, etc etc.

I settled on some names that consists of "concept/element"+"action" as a name. I was attracted to WindSlash which sounded like a move that can exist on most of fantasy/vrmmoropg-based web novels I read.

Iruna screwed me over there too. They also had 8 letter limit for names, so I forced it. xDDD

 

I came up with mine simply by combining one of my favorite game genres with a cute animal.

Since I don't name my chars I might as well say the main name

Israfin is a mixture of my IRL name and an angels name.
Israfi is from the angel Israfil which is the angel that is the mythological equal to Norse Heimdal, in the case they blow a trumpet to announce the end of days, or in a different context, technically bear judgment to the people of earth.
The Isra and the -In part is from my real name, Israel Morton, which was actually gonna be my name if the name cap wasn't so small.
J do occasionally name my chars actually tho
There was Atro, from Brave Frontier (1h and shield I tossed) and Eido, my 1h and Knucks.
The name Eido was like I don't, or even more, I don't really care (we all know what I mean tho lol)

 

I named my character after myself, Kris, pretty self explanatory, and Bean because im as smol as one. And of course mine has a back story XD let's just say that I've even started writing a story over it (I know imma dork) it would take me paragraphs and paragraphs to tell my characters back story, but I honestly think it's pretty freaking amazing (≧∇≦)b
