Complete (concise) Guide to Raising Pets

    If it is not gentle or timid you have to let it attack or use skill(better) for it to have exp from the kill. Bosses and mobs are the same count for them. If you kill the target before your pet attacks it only gets exp, not skill exp.

    I wait so the mob doesn’t have to be hit by the pet for it to gain regular exp?

    To gain pet exp kill everything asap. To gain SKILL exp for pet you have to wait for your pet to attack.

    So I can just storm with pet out it’ll gain exp?

    Yah, as long as your pet is with you while you kill everybody, it will level up and get exp. Just keep it alive tho, if your pet got ko'ed it is just a decoration on the floor.
