Complete Stats Guide (discontinued)

    I just realized that whether I have high accuracy/crit or not shouldn't matter since evasion isn't affected by either one lol
    What I'll need to do is lower my atk so I don't cause too much damage when I do hit. That way I can keep him alive long enough to test how anticipate affects the evasion rate of them shadows.
    With that in mind, I'll go try it out lol...

    Sorry I'm coming late... based off this, which would be better for now? Dex%, atk%, or str% since that raises atk, stab and cd?

    depends on your weapon type and your stats :p
    2h swords and halberds with high STR would probably like STR%, bowguns and bows obviously favour DEX%, while 1h swords could use any of them and which one is better is greatly different depending on their stat points.

    only Fear and Fatigue are still unknown...
    Fear is yet to be seen, it is only mentioned in the skill description of War Cry, which removes that ailment.
    i heard that Fatigue reduces ATK since physical damage is lower in Plastida where you are permanently inflicted with it, but there are only slime type monsters which have naturally high defense :p
    also, there is no way to remove the ailment to compare damage with and without it, so it's not an acceptable theory.
    and it would make more sense for Fear to lower ATK (and MATK) since War Cry (which raises ATK) removes it.
    we are still missing ailments that reduce Dodge or CSPD...

    Kindly inquiring if there is a cap on stats.
    Say you have 255 STR and equip a STR+% item, what happens then? Do you exceed 255 or nothing happens?

    your STR stays at 255.
    the stats you gained from those 255 STR will be increased by +%.

    You are right about weaken increasing mp cost but,
    Dizzy doesnt increase damage taken by 25% I tested it saw no change at all @_@
    Its a mystery as well.
    Also guard break doesnt affect magic def at all only def as there was no increase in magic damage (unless that mini boss got 0mdef already) I will retest this.

    Weaken increases mp cost? o_O my combo remained 2mp even after weaken was inflicted

    the duration of weaken is shorter than other effects, and it does not take effect on skills that are already activated.
    you can see it on the skill shortcut list, i noticed when i was unable to use mp charge because "not enough mp to use the skill" :p

    I sometimes get that too but that was after i killed something after save, but in imitator weaken is almost always active but ive always seen my combo taking 2mp

    At imitator its fatigue not weaken, only jade inflicts weaken yet no other boss.

    in FF4 Tellah died after casting Meteor because he was too weak.
    maybe that's why :p

    - cooldown for barriers is 20 seconds (twice the cooldown for items)
    - added Sleep to status ailments

    the mystery of Fear has been solved =(^.^)=

    Ancient Empress used it in the june event, it randomly cancels attacks and skills, but mp is still consumed.
    also, if the cancelled skill is linked to a combo, the entire combo is cancelled (but mp is consumed as usual) :p

    There is one thing others didn't ask, though. 1. How much HIT per DEX? on Knuckles and generally.
    2. How to determine accuracy rate?

    1.)Dex always gives 1Hit regardless of what weapon you use.

    2.)Accuracy rate is dependent on your HIT and the opponents dodge, every boss has its own value of dodge so its difficult to give an exact % of hit rate. Accuracy also seems to affect the rate of grazing (reduced stability) from the current tests so far. Every weapon has their own base hit rate which means they can still hit even if boss got insane dodge, for weapons staff has the highest at 30% and bowgun has the lowest at 5%, highest in general is for barehanded at 50%.

    3.)Accuracy+% stats take into account your base hit.
    Base hit = Lvl + DEX Accuracy+% increases the % of base hit but not the Accuracy that you gain from flat accuracy+ stat.

    Biggest question:- Is high hit worth getting? Depends on your class mainly afaik for nightmare mode bosses even full dex and full accuracy gears wont prevent them from dodging so if you are thinking for that I would suggest no.
