[Discussion] Full Int Knuckles+M.Device, the highest DPS class?

    Actually there are lots of thing to consider in the future, like new skills and new weapon.

    More skill points will open lots of new possibility, for example :

    1. Bow gun main can try a magic hybrid. DEX add 4 atk 1 matk and some CSPD, while INT add 3 matk and some mdef. At two stat capped (250, for sake of simplicity), Bowgun user will have 1000 atk, 1000 matk, high accuracy, 750 ish CSPD (?) and a high mdef.

    2. 1h and 2h sword will be forced to take DEX, while bow gun user will be forced to take STR if they want to max their physical damage. They will have 1000 atk, 200 cdmg, 250 matk, 750 CSPD and high accuracy. They can try to play with magic, but only to exploit damage drop off mechanism.

    3. Muscular staff user will be forced to take INT, because it will add 1 atk per stat points. At two stat capped, they will have 1000 atk, 1000 matk, 200cdmg, and a high mdef. Muscle wizzie can try to cast some magic, with a high damage bonus from staff (15% penalty from knuckle though). While traditional mage will prefer DEX, so at cap they will have 250 atk, 1250 matk, 750 cspd and high mdef. Muscle mage are kinda slow in CSPD + ASPD, and have to rely to critical rate, because they also have a low accuracy.

    4. Magic device user can take DEX and get double the staff physical attack, or try maxing AGI, having 1000 atk, 1000 matk, high ASPD, high mdef and high dodge rate.

    5. Knuckle! The physical knuckle can take DEX to increase their physical atk! Resulting in 750 atk, 250 matk, 1000 CSPD (bonus from AGI?), high dodge and high ASPD. Or go with the INT + DEX route, having 1250 matk (!), 250 atk, 750 CSPD, and high mdef.

    In my opinion, at near end game the weapon are quite balanced. Lets just see what skill and what equipment that they will release in the future XD

    An off topic question @NineArts

    You said "Quick draw + 5 skill combo"
    I don't really understand about quick draw. Does quick draw can proc on every skill even though the skill cost 0 mp, due save or consecutive?

    For example, you have combo consisted of 5 skills using 100 mp total, if very lucky, you can actually regain 500 mp?

    even if your skill costs 0 mp, it will have a chance to activate and regen 1 MP Bar (i tested this), it has a chance to activate 30% per skill casted in 1 combo.

    you can never be very lucky on activating it each time, did a computation about this (binomial probability), its still 30% even if you hit 10 skills which is the skill limit of 1 combo string in this game.

    i mentioned 5 skill combo because it's decent enough to get to regen at least once, and if it activates even once, you can execute another combo because your combo only costs 1 Mp Bar to start with.


    also, with regards to DPS here are the paths for knuckles as main:

    Magical Path:
    1 Int = Matk +4
    1 Dex = Matk +1, CSPD+3​
    Physical Path:
    1 Agi = Atk +2
    2 Dex = Atk +1​

    now, the cat is out of the bag. LOL. knuckles is actually meant to be magical if you really are looking for DPS, and it matches with the skill Impact if you equip M.Device as sub (+250% dmg)

    the only way to utilize magical brawler on this current cap is doing this kind of combo (the 7 skill combo of my [v4]):

    Smash Lv.5 ~>
    Heavy Smash Lv.5 (Save) ~>
    Sonic Wave Lv.10 (Cons) ~>
    Bless Lv.10 ~>
    Shell Break Lv.5 (Cons) ~>
    Impact Lv.10 (Smite) ~>
    Holy Fist Lv.1

    (utilize in the sense that you wouldn't be bothered with setup of DPS, be warned though, Impact needs flat terrain to hit, like Wall)

    accumulated drop off, around on the 3rd combo you will see the real damage.
    the enemy of this setup is the drop off table. if the percentages are low on physical skill or auto attack,
    it will take a long time to get your 250% bonus damage for your only 1 magical attack.

    also, what about this combo:


    knucks+md

    Sonic Wave Lv.10 ~> Lances Lv.10 (Save) ~>
    Assault Attack Lv.?? (Mind's Eye) ~> Impact Lv.7 (Cons) ~>
    Magic Storm Lv.10 (Smite) ~> Heavy Smash Lv.5 (cons) or Bless Lv.10 (cons)

    i have no information if Assault Attack increases it's pushback probability as it levels, but it's pushback is 4 meters, enough not to get Flinched with normal attacks when casting Magic Storm, provided that at least one Lance hits with a Stop status, preventing the target from coming towards you, Stop is needed so that the target is pinned down to one location so that all 7 hits from Magic Storm gets in. if the target is not pushed back (Mind's Eye) the combo does not continue.

    So if I'm not mistaken, adding more skill in a combo will increase the odds of quick draw proc, but only once per combo?

    A 6 skills combo is more likely to proc quick draw than a 3 skills combo?


    I read somewhere that if you equip shield it will become 100% chance knock back. And if you want the enemy to stop, just use earthbind... its short range, but kinda insta cast.

    I haven't tried to play with minds eye, so yeah XD

    Where can I find that list of stat effects for all weapons and neutral. Would be really helpful for build ideas. I love trying new combinations but it's difficult to tell where to put my points.
