Double CDMG+7% or ATK+7% sets for 80% Crit Chance?

    i partied with someone that used a cd7c... bow before, they didnt do so hot, switched bows with them n they did much better. i hate math so i go with what i see.

    and unless im reading it wrong, u're saying he should do c7c121212 on both arm n wep. n that's what im disagreeing on.

    They need to be exact same lvl exact same build stats/skills with you to make that comparision valid.

    It really depends on the crit rate. As you can see, this guy right here has 80% crit rate, meaning he will do MUCH better with higher crit damage.
    Now that's probably not the best option for damage for all Bow builds (lower crit rate builds will use more attack over crit damage), but based on what we know of this one, more crit damage is best.

    i added an extra line to the text just to make sure im not confused, but im understanding it as he's suggesting that or the math is suggesting that c7c121212 on arm n wep n MY opinion is that's no good.

    nah. i've just statted it and test it for both stat for my build :) so i'm currently happy with what i use and it works really well

    wow relax guys...
    anyway thx lots for thorough discussion over my simple question.
    the reason why i just want either atk+7% or cdmg+7% is because im poor (lol) so I'll just buy min pots necessary for those stat n trio crits.
    n since from my exp for a month that bow's snipe no longer gain crit boost, i figured i need to pump crit after all.
    not intending offense, but i also thought that cdmg+7% is better in long term since (roughly) 80% of my attacks will be yellows n it will become higher with more STR in future.

    well... can i have that explanation how damage calculation works?
    I've capped my TEC n I'm going to stat my gears soon so i wanna know which one is best for me.

    In short, it's a combination of fixed factors you can easily control (ATK, skill damage, crit damage) and RNG that requires a lot of investment to control (crit rate, stability).

    There's a whole bunch of factors and considering them all is pretty much madness (but I'm not far from being mad enough for it).

    so from ur explanation in that thread, it's better for me to get more CDMG since I'll be critting 80% of the time, while only 20% of the time is white numbers yes? (in a perfect world without RNG ofc lol)
