DPS 1H+Snipe, Is It Possible?

Is it possible to make high DPS using 1h with snipe skill?

 

my friend already test it, he said damage cant burst.
you can tesi it if you want

 

I saw NAKANO's 1h snipe. It has damage but IDLike the slow animation.XD

 

If just possible, anything is possible to be made in this game, but if you want its dps to match that of a bow archer or a halberd nope its not possible.

Snipe has 25% more damage with bow than 1h and does not have -25% critical either and considering bow can get higher atk easily as well snipe will be truly inferior with 1h.
Snipes output would be bow > bowgun > halberd arrow > staff arrow > 1h arrow > knux arrow

1h snipe will not have skill damage weapon bonus. Then atk multiplier from a 1h also lower then bow, bowgun, and staff.

 

There one time my friend suggest dagger arrow. It took me a while to realise it was a joke.

Hmm, I'm interested in the idea of hb arrow + snipe. What criteria are make u think that this build better than others after the hunter class?

 

First of all the amount of atk they can gain is insane due to huge weapon atk of halberd.
Also they can use punish ray to 100% crit snipe without crit gears if not they can use with critical gears as well.
It all depends on the build and their combos though with full crit gears its snipe is similiar to a bowgun, low crit low stability but highest damage.

The only reason for a 1h arrow is for sword tempest, higher base stability and being able to use STR for higher CD since bowgun cant use STR. Dont worry about the crit debuff, because astute makes up for it with its own crit buff and sword tempest is pretty powerful. I personally play 1h arrow because i find it fun, But i havent been able to test how well it competes against a different sniper build, but i think we all know bow/bowgun will definatly beat it but idk about how well itd be against halberd arrow or staff arrow builds.

Snipe. Sword tempest helps add to snipe's dmg and its dmg in the combo isn't too bad

 

that combo would be long and dont have enough time to finish? that dangerous @0@

 

Actually it works pretty well and i have no problem finishing the combo. its also easy to swap to +hp gear to tank too since snipe is aggro hungry. one problem though is that i dont use smoke shot to up the hit rate

 

Ahh, i dont use dust too and snipe dont give me much aggro either.
