Read again my friend "(meikyo, cons, filler)"
Also meikyo buff will be consumed by impact.
DT has 100% phys pierce and 100%crit rate with no any requirement like sstab to increase its dmg, thats why i place buff w/quick animation filler to at least, lower the physical proraretion.

I think i like dt now compared to ss. For one you can attack faster with almost the same damage as ss. One thing I notice about dt is that if the boss is moving a lot there is a chance that you'll miss one dt strike or you'll have lower damage than a boss who doesn't move a lot.

    My only problem is... aggro.
Even with our tank using guardian and provoke, I still get the aggro when using DT.

Do you have dk amulet? Use that, and you can use sneak attack. And use the dagger with - aggro. Also you can use goldoon for additional neg aggro.

Try adding Quick Aura(swift) after warcry for less dmg reduction on dt

DT got high crit, so if u use DT, u'll have no problem with crit Gears and you can use DPS Gears instead which lead to higher damage.
Also u don't need to care much about proration, it's way better you see?

DT is indeed a good skill but it doesnt resolve halberd users main issue, grazing hits. sure we have dive impact but the dazzle duration is so short and the cooldown for resist dazzle is too long. DT was supposed to be good against nm/hell runs with 100% phy pierce but almost all nm/hell bosses have insane dodge halberds will always graze.

ill still use halberds though. its still my favorite class

The good thing about dt is its self prorating. Yes, you graze attack on your normal attacks but it is ok, as long as it hits and recovers mana for you.

@Allanus dt self prorating? What do you mean? Also when paupau said graze problem, its not for normal attack. The dt itself is grazing, causing lower dmg overall to halberd total dmg.

What I experience is dt has a very high crit already. Meaning it is seldom grazing when it hit. I didn't have problem with it's damage. I often have high damage with it. Example zahhack or iconos. When I say it is self prorating what i mean is you can use the skill right a way without using 5 to 7 normal attacks and still have high damage. All of this is just my observation. I use elemental halb on different bosses so maybe that is the difference.

Oh you mean that i see. I agree, dt dont have any requirement unlike most t4 skills (except chariot and the invincible meteoraaa).
Wow elem halb. Thats my long time target to have due to the high cost needed(i prefer +s wep, so having all elem halb +s is a bit too much right now). Cool collection of weapon you have then XD.

Also i think you have a bit misconception here. Graze hit is when you are supposed to miss, but your attack di critical dmg. Critical never miss. But if its suppose to miss, it will become grazed. Grazed will make ur stability 1/2. Thats why dt dmg can be lower than it suppose to be.
When you said in zahhak or iconos, yes i aggree they grazed not so often. But i mean is in high diff boss (nm or ulti) they have an insane dodge rate. This cause most of my dt grazed. I think odelon have high grazed rate too.

Edit: dt has natural 75 cr at lv10. Player has natural 25 cr. Combine them and dt has 100%cr at lv10.

Hi sorry about my comment before about graze damage. I noticed it also that I graze a lot on high lvl bosses. I think the best way to minimize that is use accuracy buff and combine with agi and dex to increase hit. But i know we have limited stat points so maybe when lvl cap increases we put more on that. Or just let it be as long as it gives damage hehehe

No problem bro. I too want to take any skill that can give a big boost to accuracy. If possible one that dont have cast time or <2 sec cast time.
Halb ampr/way to regen mp is not that good too. War cry of struggle can recover quite sum amount of mp but has high risk to use.
