Dual Wield: Dex Build?

I want to do dual wield but i want to focus on blade skills so im maxing dex, what is the main dps for dex build and equipments for duals?

You're better off just going Ohs.
BUT buster and meteor are the best by a long shot. Use atk7%/Cdmg7%/Cdmg16 sword, and full crit armor. Tyrant mask and dex tali

 

Even if you try to focus on Blade Skills, STR would still be the best option. But if you're talking about STR : DEX build, then yes, it's good for Blade Skills since it only relies on main hand weapon attack.

 

I dare to say that the biggest damage dealing for dual wield and 1H sword on blade skill is only rampage, even if you use meteor breaker the damage wouldn't be that high compared when using rampage, not to say that if you're in a party it'll only decrease the physical proration. Compare it when using rampage you can boost the proration while keep giving damage (and able to spam skill more often) tho it'll need some muscle memory and it is just my theorycrafting.

For the equipment it's depend on your stat, if you're allocatin on DEX>STR, then you must use tyrant xtal no matter what accompanied with Gwaimol or Grecia xtal, focus on flat crit. damage for the weapon (A7CCC16 or something like that that you can afford), armor the mainstream combo (full crit+ornlarf), additional depend on your critical (if there's still white damage you could find a crit. rate+ additional, if already 100% crit then you can focus on crit. damage). If it DEX>AGI then Gwaimol is a no no, and you might want to change crit. damage% into STAT+14 (DEX/AGI/STR)

I myself planning to make a DEX>AGI build that focused on rampage, SS and FB and since rampage skill constant isn't that big (only 100 for the next 10 auto attack) i'm gonna use clarity rose to take care of monster DEF problem

s.n : if you want to take an anti-mainstream path then you should've make your own build instead of asking the build from the other

 

Well, dw is all about your playstyle. If you love to nuke, then buster meteor is the way to go (str>dex), but if you want to "starburst stream", then you should play berserk and rampage (str>agi, dex>str, agi>str).

I want buster blade to be my Main DPS, so I'll go with STR, btw this is an evasion build, i have 55% evasion on my equipments plus reflex(dunno the exact evasion buff).

 

How do you get 55 evasion before reflex?
10 light armor remodel
20 light armoe mastery
10 mole eyes/belt knife
5 weapon xtal.
Total 45
Is there a 10evasion OHS?

 

My main dps is Buster Blade

Light armor 10
Light armor + evasion Mastery 20
Assassin garb 15
Knife belt 10
Well i have assassin garb.. :3
(On 1h rapier is the only one i know that have evasion. 5%)

 

I guess dex>str might work too (in case you already spend a lot on dex). Str is good because buster is always crit and str increase crit damage, but dex is not bad since it's increase main hand damage (you can cover the list of crit damage using equip)

 

i have bad news for you, evasion won't work on most of magic attack from monster (tho there're some magic attack that can be evaded)
and i have a good news for you, if you gonna go full STR and don't have enough money, 3rd anniv sword VII NPC could become a good alternative since it give 24% magic resis (iirc)

 

Oh, what is magic attacks? Is it the red circles/zones? Or is it a normal with a magic atk?

 

depend, it can be red or blue, but at least it wont be a normal attack

 

I thought its a normal atk, it's fatal if its a normal cuz i cant use evasion on it, i can manually dodge or shadowstep on every red/blue zones, but the bad thing is, im paper to them (1-2hits)

 

Just be careful, sometimes shadow step and evasion turn situation from bad to worse
*Well, cross parry can help to reduce the damage, need a good timing though
