Dump some low draining katana combos here

    Like the title I want to know different types of low mp draining katana combos that I can use as a basis for my own combo. I'm no way a combo expert, more of a noob there.

    Can make low mp combos for hasso happa as it doesnt need you to parry any enemy attack.
    Wave blade + war cry(save) + flash blast(cons) + quick aura(swift) + impact(cons) + hasso happa(smite) + holy fist(cons)
    The combo can be made shorter by removing some extra skills but it wont be 150% smite.

    For zantei its not possible to make 1mp combos as it is timing based skill. I use 2mp zantei opener with impact ender.
    Wave blade + war cry(save) + flash blast(save) + impact(swift)
    Followed by
    Zantei + flash blast(save) + impact(swift)
    2x and then first combo again to setup war cry.

    I have more fun using zantei tbh it always keeps you on the edge and makes for a fun timing based gameplay.
    Mp cost hasnt been an issue for me as katanas have extreme ampr with the shukuchi skill.

    I've started my Samurai from level 1...

    Once you have 6 combo points free, create the penetrator combo..

    Quick combo, to activate armor break, paralyse and stun. It's only 1mp, and farm's combo points well.

    It's also short enough to allow you to pure zentei with armour break active, and with the crit buff.

    Terms of damage combos, HASSO combos are probably going to be more reliable and stable. While, Zentei will take a learning curve before people start customising it into reliable combos.

    Potentially a Zentei combo would require swift combos leading up to it's release. If we get more motion speed items, then maybe we can make a viable play.

    Zentei for skill, HASSO for thrills.

    My combo:
    Pulse Blade> Zantei Settetsu (save)> Meikyo Shisui (consecutive)> Triple Thrust (smite)> Issen (swift)

    Basically the way you use it is you run away from your target, use PB, move closer but continue running around until they attack, then stop moving and you'll automatically use the rest of the combo and still benefit from Zantei (does 18k for me).

    It's not the best for DPS, but it's good for soloing because it's safe to use and focuses on blocking and avoiding damage.

    1. Pulse blade> triple thrust(save)> impact (cons)> hasso happa(smite)>pummel(save)> meikyou(swift)
    *this combo let you get close target and activate meikyou for auto Attack, 10cp, 1mp cost

    2. Issen> Meikyou(save)> pummel(smite)> impact(cons)
    *get impact buff for next skill, 6cp, 1mp cost

    3. Zantei settettsu> Pummel(save) > impact(swift)
    *use Zantei while having impact buff will save u 2mp, 4cp, 4mp cost

    *pummel will paralyse target, or stun paralysed target

    Edit :
    combo with magadachi removed.
    Added pummel in first combo.
    Added meikyou in second combo.

    There is a bug where combo tag is ignored when you dash between skill in your combo..(seems like when sukuchi active between skill). Resulted in mp drain ;-;

    I reported it alrd. Waiting for their response in tuesday.

    These are the two combos I'm running with:

    Combo 1: 2mp
    Issen>zantei (save)>pommel(cons)>triple thrust(cons)>meikyo(cons)>hasso(smite)>impact(cons)

    Combo 2: 2mp
    Zantei>pulse blade(cons)>impact(cons)

    Once you use combo 1 you can either spam combo 2 or just alternate between the two. Works pretty well for me and I can land around 40k with zantei in combo 2 when it crits; and about 80k with hasso in combo 1

    Is zantei a str base skill or dex? Ive seen that other katana skills get higher damage with dex stat while hasso is based in str. Im not sure zantei. Sorry off topic

    All skills will get better damage by dex its just that when their skill constant is considered you will feel like str is giving more output when you have low ATK.
    Thats not the point tho as total damage difference is barely noticeable.
    Str better for hasso coz it can never graze meaning the 100% stability is put to great use.
    Zantei on other hand gets reduced stability by grazing on high dodge boss meaning it needs the hit from dex to keep the stability high.

    Thats the main reasoning why I think str for hasso and dex for zantei. Raw damage is barely any different between them.

    Thought I'd share a nice CP training combo I started using while solo farming (decently bulky) mobs, for daily exp emblems:
    Pulse Blade -> Warcry (save) -> Meikho (con) [fast filler] -> Triple Thrust (swift) -> Zantei (con)
    1mp total cost, can be initiated from very far away (up to 17m with shukichi) and seems to work well to catch a hit during Zantei (due to the fast dive into the enemy's hit range).
