DW combo suggestions.

Hello, I'm currently in love with my speed freak dw. It's pure dex and rest agi. Could you guys please suggest a two smited combo for my dw, twin slash and phantom. No impact. Please include how much mp would cost. Thank you

 

Astute (fast) > Shadowstep lv.1 400MP save (clunky) > flash stab lv.1 cons (quick) > Twin slash smite 110% (slow~ish) > trigger slash cons any level (awkwardly clunky) > Phantom slash smite 150% (motionspeed boosted) > any combo ender (I recommend shell break.)

300MP double smited 110% Twin slash + 150% Phantom slash combo without impact.

Oh may I ask what sword you recommend for pure dex>agi? And does equipping an elemental sword (sub weapon) can actually have affects?

 

I recommend DEX7% ATK7% CD11/CD7% (if you're into gamble) for main sword. For sub weapon, It's ok to add elements as it boost some of your dual sword skill damage output like your twinslash, phantom slash is not gonna be boosted tho. For full dex, I recommend you to abuse sub hand sword's stability for more concentrated damage output.

 

Yaay!! You've answered all my dilemmas about DW. Thank youuu! One more thing please, on sub weapon should it be complete stats like, Fire Element-11%DmgtoEarth-Cd11? Or just the element only?

Since you've enough knowledge about dw, can I ask one more thing? Can IMPACT boost the damage of Twin Slash or Phantom?

 

Impact in general, boosts normal damage (auto attacks) and Physical damage (STR, DEX and AGI based skills) via proration. To be specific, impact has its pros and cons tho, generally a god tier utility skill in paper but not that good of a skill in experience. How? Because not all of the boss in this game reacts positively in "Tumble" that impact brings. Tumble can be very very beneficial against some boss that ignores the crow control but some boss tend to react negatively in an instant once the tumble triggers them. Best example is Jade Raptor.

Eh .. at the end of the day, impact has more pros than cons. Its just about how you execute your skills. That is why mastery and personal mechanics is the most important thing in this game.
