    yes... no... maybe?

    dyes are attached on equipment and can be transferred to another equipment of the same type via Equipment Synthesis.
    there are 3 types of dyes (A, B, C) which apply to different parts of the equipment.

    armor dyes are usually dropped by bosses and mini bosses, add. gear dyes come from normal mobs and weapon dyes from bosses at nightmare and ultimate difficulty.
    the dyes for weapons are randomly changed every month.

    Either from ribbon dropped by white jelly in road to another world, or Dog ears dropped by white wolf in Haotos ravine (I don't think they're easy to get though )

    I got the ribbon but after I synth it still looks like the ribbon? I thought I made a mistake so I tried again. Same results. 100k wasted.

    no, only some.
    and Lavarca has dye but isn't a boss :p
    every option that is not "locked" will be chosen at random.

    Dog ears is an easy white dye to farm. I usually farmed it to pair with my light grey(or dirty white as my guildies call it) dye farmed on colon commander for my ghost cowboy look. (Too bad its a tank sniper and the only sheild that look good on him is the one farmed on demon gate)

    How do I get black dye at lvl 47?
    On the consignment board the items with dye are always at insane prices and I'm broke XD

    Well today is your lucky day, cuz black armor dyes are limited... and you can get them this golden week event...

    See those golden coryn skittering around? That my friend is where you get black armor dyes...

    Some dyes u get from event... theres Dye Type ABC ... each covors a specific area... There are dyes for Weapons, armours, additional Equipments.. yeah

    And most add dyes drop from mobs.. if you want to get weapon dyes they drom from bosses at nightmare or ultimate difficulty.. yeah and the weapon dye slocations change every month..

    All roars drop additional dyes similar to their color and yes that includes nightmare roar XD check the headbands
