Egg's Extreme PewPew Arrow Mage Build(Lv 140)

Hello I am a noob. Literally making first character and I have put stats in Intel and DEX and now thinking of going arrow mage . So at lvl60 what is the best staff and arrow I can get?

 

full INT first then DEX
Staff: best is Elemental I think. You need to buy it. Or try to farm for mats and Craft it in NPC-BS.
Arrow: Artisan(NPC)
Edited: If You have strong friends, ask them to help in Bexis for Staff. Its better for boss like Roga.

 

Is there a way to increase survivability. I can't solo some bosses that much since i shifted from your gay gandalf build to pew pew XD. Great builds. ^_^ and where can i farm choco ooze xtal btw?

 

Choco ooze is event drop sir.

 

Well , let me start off by saying this build wasn't made to solo to begin with unlike the shield mage build I made, this build was designed for being in a party in mind.
Regarding survival , Get iconos xtal and you'll have 4k hp at least. Use dragon steak and it will reach more than 5.5k.
Choc ooze is an event xtal and it is probably really expensive now.

 

Owww. Guess I did a bit of a wrong move for shifting then XD anywhore, thanks for replying I'll just concentrate on achieving the 1000 cspd mark so I can do the combo faster. Great build guides man ^_^

 

Oh yeah. I was thinking about something. Uhm. I was planning to add the three optional martial arts skill in case of close range battle due to the aggro pew pew has. Could you give me a combo with those skills that works great with 8cp thaaaanks ^_^

 

Actually theres no need to get those martial skills , exception would be smash at lv6 as it has 75% chance to induce flinch on your opponent.

Smash - wall or arrow (smite) - impact (cons) - storm (smite) - paralysis shot (cons)

Hello sir tamago I have made my first character and arrow mage . I wanted to ask does it make more sense to make my next character a luk farm mage or should I go for archer or duel swords

 

Actually it would make more sense if you made your next char as a luk mage ,as you can share the equips of your arrow mage to your luk mage, and also everyone needs a luk mage these days to farm the necessary materials they need.

 

Oww sorry to bother u again. Would there be a possible combo of 1mp with 8cp? sorry for not asking earlier

 

Smash - Smoke dust (save) - moeba (cons) - impact (no tag) - storm (smite) - holy fist (no tag)

 

I combined your two builds pretty effectively, I think. Shield mage / pew pew. I got smash, holy fist, assault attack, and shield bash as fillers. I'm working on a triple smite combo using arrow, lance, and storm, and using lvl 10 guardian with a save tag in place of smoke dust (I just need to farm the cp to finish and test it). I feel like the concept is similar, but with more emphasis on DPS than your gandalf build. Standard dps mage equipment and xtals, with Iconis on armor, so that I have more hp with VIT as a secondary stat. Lemme know what ya think. (Once its finished I'm hoping the test phase goes well against bosses)

 

SirEgg what is your cspd without equips in 130?

 

I advice smiting wall instead of lance as lance is really weak and has a very long cast time , Guardian 10 also has a bigger aoe which means more chance for people to get inside the aoe and that will reduce your matk. Yes you can make triple smite on an arrow mage but it would be really slow as compare to this one and would pretty much end up getting interrupted all the time.

Wait, having more people inside guardian lowers matk? Why is this? How high might you recommend it being, considering I'll be stationary since its used in the middle of a combo.

And I see your point with triple smiting being interrupted often. If I had to choose one to smite on, would arrow or wall be best?

Would you recommend shell break lvl 10 being added to help proration and mp gain?

Guardian lv1 has 0m which means they require to virtually hug your character for them to get the buff

Yes either you pick arrow or wall , Wall is really strong as it can deal as much as 80% of the total dmg of storm , arrow meanwhile is generally weaker but easier to hit enemy with , though generally the guideline for using these skills are : arrow if the enemy moves alot and wall if the enemy is stationary.

Yes shellbreak does wonders when it comes to mp recovery,

 

I recommend resetting and keeping guardian at lvl1-3 coz even at lvl10 it has a more hefty nerf on matk than on atk that is -10% per person standing but the amount of guard rate it gives is same for all lvl I use it at lvl3 where its only 1m range but 1min duration.
