Elven Archer Build :p

I've made new build~!!
I've made it lv 40 and I find it quiet nice :3
It still needs some improvements but I'll try to find out more as lvl it more~

Main Stat: Dex
Planned stat after maxing Dex: Str or Vit (have to decide as level goes up)

These are skills I've made it learn

Spoiler: shot skill

I don't use snipe as my main dps skill even it gives a lot of dmg
I'll use it for sole purpose of causing Guard Break

Spoiler: magic skill

Mage skill is for mp reduction and mp charge but I also use Javelin in combo
Magic Wall for Mob repelment

Spoiler: martial skill

Yup I'm going for kicks since I have bow and arrow in my hands, not knuckle
(Tbh, I like mixing kicks and punches )

Spoiler: hunter skill

Hunter skill kick kicks opponent 8m away at lv 10
I'll use that as skill ender or starter so I can make easy escape/for charge times of some skills

Spoiler: knight skill

Using Assault Attack is something like short teleport
I, sometimes, use it to avoid Boss skills that are targeting some area and bombard that area thingy

Spoiler: priest skill

Using Priest bless lv 10 can be benefit to archer if later skill blessing boost (I guess they will name it something faith or faith of something) is beneficial
gloria can give buff to defense a little but I'm not maxing it
holy fist can be good combo starter/ender with no miss
I'll think of a way to use Holy Light but it's mdef ignoring stat is only work with knuckles

I heard there would be AoE skill in Knight skill (I'm guessing it's area provocation)
Also I'm hoping for skill release of priest and hunter too
After this u have 2 skill points left but I'll save them

These are prediction of when my character reach lv 110
And from what this type of build requires, I guess I'll go with vit as secondary stat

Please correct me if u see something wrong

Nice build Arcata; although I don't really get whether or not this is a dps build or not; do you have a main damage skill?

 

So many things that are wrong here let me point them out:-

-->Since you dont have knux as sub the dmg from martial skills will be very low -50% iirc so even with guard break from snipe you wont be seeing good dps

-->Speaking of guard break yeah bows have higher chance to inflict it than bowguns but at lvl1 snipe i doubt its proc rate will be even 25%

-->Heal amount from bless highly depends on int and matk if you dont have int as main whats the point of maxing it, dont tell me that theres the skill that will boost its heal cause it will most probably be a multiplier rather than additive so (low heal x multiplier = still low heal)

-->Just because "oh there will be new skills they must be powerful" doesnt mean you have to abandon skills that are currently powerful and lvl only the skills that will have a new skill after it to 5 thats just a waste of precious skill points holy fist, assault atk, smoke dust, gloria there was absolutely no point in getting them to lvl5 just yet.

 

hm... i see...
so you include kicking skills because Toram Elves are martial Artists.
but at the same time it uses bow and arrows and magic like LotR Elves.
not sure if this will fit together... it's like my 1st build: the Ninja Magician - good in theory but too many specialities to be effective.
i refined it many times and ended up with the Evasion Magician (link in my signature).
i guess you can have a magic archer or a kicking archer, but not both. so choose one

(also i think that Toram Elves are actually Magic Device Martial Artists = MDMA)

 

Well... what I know from Elves is they are good archer, mage, and martial artists......
and in toram they use magic and one npc in el scaro said elves using stronge martial arts so I mixed them togerther =3=

I'm aiming for next skill release so even after that build, u still have 2 sp left and keep on saving :3
(next skill will be stronger....so... if they release one )
and if u look at skill tree, snipe ends there but there's more after arrow rain so I'll root for stronger skill after rain OwO
And it's obviously not dps
It's just survive type..? while dealing dmg
Made it for fun/hoping to use it for farm

My Elf ... she a supportive(inflicting) archer who uses sonic wave >~>
Fast, High AMPR, good dps but no magic
the archer skill after arrow Rain will most likely not be stronger than Snipe since the dps branch ends there...could be an more hitting arrow Rain or so.
Bless doesn't do much on a full Dex build since it scales on matk.
Since u use bow as weapon ur dmg skill of choice should be snipe -->lv it to 10
....remove that holy light ...(long cast time + bad dmg)
Btw kicks....even tho it's done with the feet it will lose dmg bc of the lack of knuckles.

U have 'long range' on lv5 so u benefit of it if the mob is 6m+ away from u ^~^
and since u don't use sneak attack u will be needing to distant that mob with all that aggro u will be gaining

 

kick's max range is 3m and u can kick mob 8m away

 

I want more hitting skills :3
btw from the pattern other skills go, most likely after arrow rain, it will be single targeted skill I guess..?

 

Arrow rain is a aoe attack. So, no. It will attack any mob that's in its radious. It doesn't target a single mob.

Magic wall won't be necessary since you have arrow rain. Plus, knockback isn't needed because you have the kick skill. Those supporting skills tho...

 

Tbh ur build is a fail ._.

btw it's actions are fun to watch

 

I know this is just for fun, but lemme just tell you some things. Unless your martial art skill can tumble or flinch, it's useless. Earthbind and triple kick will give you low dmg since knuckles are not subbed, plus they are up close skills while the whole " archer " class is about dmging from a distance. The priest skills won't be as helpful to you because it depends on your int stats. You have better luck healing for a Revita then using the skill.

I used to use it on my main Mage, but it didn't work well

1st one has Bow+"Knife"+Support+Production build
2nd one has Bow+Kick+Whip/Shield+Production build

Both also involves a character who mainly does solo hunting and gathering. Their main income generating skills are cooking, and they also crafting their own potions and some gears. ^^

Yes this build isn't to the liking of most, but who knows? maybe in the future, this build is as broken as the ones described on the novels i linked. xD

I know this is a fun build but just a reminder,you are saving sp for skill after arrow rain and iirc the skill will come out at 150 cap?We all don't know what skill Asobimo will add in the future so instead of focusing on skills that are unknown it's better to focus on skills that we alrd know about.Also,please if u know that it's failed build,do not make a thread about it bcause people will see it as a troll.
