Fairy Blaster (medium-budget build for Master's Tonfa)

Halloween Update, I feel it.

Floating Fists -> Giant floating gloves

250 Base Dmg
50 AMPR
50 CR
50% Dodge
50% Atk Speed

 

All these hype about master tonfa makes me want to test it myself. Though, since I somehow said that I won't be using it.
So, to be true to my word, here's my non-tonfa screenies.

Nice! So the chariots are similar for Iconos and Ifrid etc? I guess this balances out non-tonfa (no gear restrictions) vs tonfa (gear restrictions)

Ye, I think I was using it during that ss. I was just switching between shields to accomodate bosses on their face to my shield bashing moments. ^_^

FYI I'm not super annoyed by this but, upon reflection, bothered enough to make a comment now...

So after boasting about their own big DPS numbers of their own private non-tonfa build within my tonfa build guide, that person successfully stole the limelight, then some innocent newcomer on the forum asked for more details of their build... and there's been no word since?

Also, there's another person that directly asked me for more information around this build. After going out of my way to provide requested information, has also made no further comment since.

 

I mean, granted a slowed WW gives 3x Damage, it's a 300k chariot normally probably.

Looks like Agi Str Crit Build. Probably has Plus S elemental Knucks and full 2 slot gear.

My apologies. I wasn’t able to announce my hiatus. It wasn’t really my intention to boast but just want to give non-tonfa some hope on their build.

Yep, you pretty much got it. Though, the knux is accc. Gears almost full 2s except for the add since I can’t still afford it.

Just dropping a final note here that this particular tonfa build guide is finished and won't be updated anymore.

Reason is because my final build is no longer considered 'medium budget', as I've been busy upgrading my equipment with more 2s gear (and megiston champ xtal!). Currently, I'm working on a more traditional tonfa build with shield sub, and the impact/rush spam there is also proving rather fun to play too.

Definitely try out Tonfa if you're able to get them, i feel like its really put brawlers back on the radar in this game. In all my short boss runs, i'm taking Attacker rank 95% of the time while levelling, and a DPS Brawler is a really unique (AND very viable) build amongst this current meta of CF/Finale/Tenryu.

 

So i recently took my capped 'endgame' fairy, which still uses the original meikyo chariot combo, into the xmas raid boss for a few runs. Managed to take attacker role in a party of 2H, KTN and Finale (all at 170, and presumably these players were bringing their own strongest DPS chars too):

BRAWLER DPS FTW!!!
FYI: Stats of my endgame AGI/DEX Knux+MD build (with food, and beautiful hair LOL):
Atk: (almost) 2.3k | Final Crit: 86% | HP: 7.5k | MP: 2000 | Hit: 450 | AMPR: 60

 

Very cool my dps knuck char is at 88 now. I can't wait to hit cap with it.

Consider use Critical Foods ? LVL21 grant CRI+8 already, Without Meikryo, Champion(15)+Armor(21)+Add(30)+BattleSkill(5)+Shield(12)/Dagger(10)+Bexiz(5)+Food(10), total can get 96/98 Critical.

However this build uses maximiser so get around mp/ampr issue, so no shield is allowed.

I have another brawler char for shield sub and yes, I have 98crit there w/ crit food. +2 crit from avatar stats to make this 100% crit, and then need different way to tackle the mp/ampr issue in boss fights...

Between shield sub and MD sub though, i am definitely in favor of MD for range+fast boss runs. Shield has the perk of pdef though, for more in-fight survivability
