Farslayer 1H + Arrow build (Level 60/ WIP)

The Farslayer build offers a multitude of usage, such as Sniping, Tanking, or Close-Quarter-DPSing, as with the different combos could either assure you a #1 spot for breaker, tank, or damage; this build is best with heavy armor, I will make an Off-branch thread about this build later that uses light armor and evasion.
The equipment I use is: Brutal Dragon armor (Heavy), Leve Fang +1 (Boss drop), Mithril arrow, Crystal Earrings +7(Boss drop), and Beast Fang Talisman (MP +200 Crysta)

For stats, I've chosen to go full STR and will soon put the rest in DEX, but I have been debating whether or not if I should split the DEX with AGI and go for a 2:1:1 build

It may seem simplistic, but the stats go quite well with the skill selection and variant of the build to yours choosing; speaking of which..
The skills I've selected for the Farslayer are versatile, strong, and very adoptive to almost any situation, whether your team mate just flinched Proto and is smacking people all over the room, to something more ranged such as a very angry Pillar Golem sniping you from afar, these skills got you covered!

Here are a few combos for the Farslayer Build and their purpose;

1. Phantom Grip: is a tanking combo for pulling aggro on bosses and it's trash mobs
2. Retribution: is a balanced DPS combo that has a chance of breaking boss parts when in battle, with the asute crit buff it doubles down the power of trigger slash making it a good set to use
3. Withering Kiss is a specialized combo in which it slowly drains away the HP of the boss and has a VERY high damage rate if used correctly, because not only is the boss losing HP, but you will as well, think of it as a Self-leech combo that takes away your own HP and makes the combo stronger.

Now here is where you have a few cool options if you plan to pursue the Farslayer build:

1. Add Tamer skills and use a pet with you in battle
2. Learn Guard skills and obtain all the heavy armor buffs/passives for guard and parry
3. Add Halberd skills to make use of the mid-range advantage when fighting bosses so that you can easily slide into the heart of the battle or step back and prepare to snipe

As stated before, this build is just a Work in progress, but please do tell me anything that needs improvement, what tree I should learn besides Survival and Battle skills, and if you'd like to see this build even more! Thank you.

This build looks like it could go somewhere, though you might want to list what you have equipped so we can fully understand your build. The only flaws are that you haven't gotten some of your skills to the level that they need to be at, but that's understandible because, like you said, it's still a work in progress build. The only other thing I have to add is that you might not want to add tenacity to your combos since it lowers the damage that the skill does and costs you some of your hp.

I am looking forward to see where this build goes since people don't make 1h+arrow builds very often.

Provoke can only be cast independently and can'tbe a part of a combo.

Retribution combo is like a death wish. It's like saying "smite me". Use impact instead if you want to tumble rather than powershot.

Withering kiss, another deathwish. But hey, who's to judge? If this gets you off, then we'll support you. ^_^
