Finally made a sword fu that prorates well

    Astute > Tempest (Save) > Javelin (Swift) > Shell Break (Cons) > Impact (Cons) > Triple Kick (Smite) > War Cry (Cons)
    [Physical : Magical] [3:3] (1 mp)
    Includes Shell Break for mp regen.
    Includes Astute for increased accuracy of shell break and tempest.
    Javelin and Impact are maxed out for increased flinch and tumble.
    150% Triple Kick
    Average damage for combo is approximately 115k. (Level 108, no xtals, full crit sword and armor, gothic hat, muscle talisman III, 1061 ATK)

    hmmm. i think its better if you switch Shell Break And Warcry to your combo

    Any particular reason why? I suppose the point of this combo was to only require 1 auto attack in between, thus making aspd less of a issue.

    combo and proration wise so u dont need to get close to 1m just to cast shell break because some or most of the boss do a lot of interruption skills and your combo cost only 1mp so i think its better to use SB only when needed btw do u have Quick Draw?

    Excellent point, Ratburat. I could also change the opener to Sonic Wave to set up the combo at a distance entirely. Good idea, dood. I think that constantly using shell break is better than using it "when needed," because either way, you still heal mp. I lack the sp right now to utilize Quick Draw. Currently maxing out War Cry.

    how many combos do u have btw? cuz i was thinking if u use Shellbreak as your ender u can use another combo something like
    ast>temp>jav>>warcry>Imp>3plekick>SB then if shellbreak procs u can use Impact>HeavySmash(Smite)>AnyEnder to your 2nd combo not sure if you like Heavy Smash skill tho XD :p

    My second combo is a much shorter 90% Triple Kick, for when the aggro is on me, and such. Unfortunately, I never invested in Heavy Smash, as I do love my 1 mp combos.

    Good to know you are trying different stuff and making progress. I just wanna let you know that as a sword fu you dont have to necessarily always make a break even prorate combo. Sword fu are blamed for breaking proration because they use their physical combos but can not mend the proration lost by auto attacking as they have low base critical rate to auto attack.

    Remember skills will prorate even if they miss or get evaded but auto attack wont prorate if they miss.
    As rat said you indeed will have trouble with long combos at recent bosses. If you can auto attack do not worry about using 3:2 or 3:1 physical magical combos if you can mend their proration by auto attacking.

    Long ass combo, but it's good to practice proration.

    Your next goal would be breaking/transforming it to give way to mobility, thus avoiding sudden death. ^_^

    Valuable Input, Mayam. So, seeing as Javelin is the slowest skill (even when swifted, it feels like), obviously then it would be the first skill to drop.

    Current Critical Rate: 72% (Full Critical Sword and Armor, Gothic Hat, and Critical Up skill)
    With Astute: 97% (Missing is mainly attributed to evasion)

    Required: 1 mp based combo, Triple Kick (for damage), Shell Break (For Regen), and Astute (For accuracy of Shell Break, Tempest, and Auto Attacks)

    [Physical : Magical] (Auto Attacks required to readjust proration)
    Percent of Triple Kick power : Combo : Time

    [3:2] (1)
    130% : Astute > Shell Break (Save) > Impact (Cons) > Tempest (Cons) > Triple Kick (Smite) > War Cry (Cons) : 7.32 sec
    110% : Astute > Tempest (Save) > Impact (Swift) > Triple Kick (Smite) > Shell Break (Cons) : 5.50 sec [Possibly the best option here]***

    [3:1] (2)
    90% : Astute / Hard Hit > Impact (Save) > Triple Kick (Smite) > Shell Break (Cons) : 4.75 sec

    I think this is to stabilized the DMG of the DPS skills by using magic skills as a filler? This might be unstable with a fellow physical DPS that prorates with full auto until a window for a full physical combo comes.

    I'm sure as long as everyone self prorates, everything will be fine~. And yeah, the magic is to stabilize / increase the damage of my DPS skills. It's not completely filler, per se, as they are pretty handy interrupt spells.

    Indeed it does, though it is based off of your Atk. Spinning Slash is also in this category.
