Forum rules?

Is there a list stating what makes a post fall under "spam-like" and becomes ineligible to post? Discovered that you can't say someone's full username so far. No linking to any other sites. What other triggers are there? I keep trying to post and can't figure out what's preventing it.

 

If you keep trying to post images and it fails or post a siggy and same:
Go to a general discussion thread and add to a discussion (not the way I do). System might think you're a bot and is trying to prevent that, that's all
You can link to other sites, just no other forums. We had a huuuuuuuuuge scuffle on that 2 years ago. Luckily, all seems calm
And... how come you can't post usernames? I'd ask a moderator about that kiddo
Other triggers:

• Profanity: We are a Christian Server, no swearing
• Religious talk: We do NOT care about your God or lack of
• Political talk: The patriarchy of this forums could care less about what you think about the political system of your damned country
• Sexual talk: Because getting kinky is looked down upon. Do that in your guild chat
• Hate speech: We love our rights, just don't be a dick about 'em. Be nice

I had tried linking to deviantart and imgur, neither seemed to be able to go through, so I ended up directly uploading the images.
I don't think any of the other triggers should be a problem. I'll try the discussion thread bit!

 

Not as in POST it there. There's certain rankings. You're classified as a new member (0-39 post made on a discussion thread) wher as I'm elite (999-3199 post). What you need to do is raise your post count to 40 to become "active" to start adding pics iirc

 

Ooohhh gotcha! Thank you for the clarification. Dang, 40 seems pretty high, I usually prefer hanging out in one, maybe two threads, and lurking half the time :/ Welp. I'll work on that!

 

After removing a bunch of harmless introductory sentences from my post in the Introductions forum, it stopped triggering the spam filter; I then edited the post with similar sentences and it went through anyway. I'm honestly baffled.

 

Trust me, been on forums for 2 years (I asked for my old account to be banned, trying to have all it's statistics moved to this one which I know ain't happening but whatever) and it still confuses me

 

Another newb question - where can I see how many posts I've made? The "messages" count under my icon shows as 0 so I'm not sure what that refers to either.
