full AGI, can't hit anything. hopeless?

Alright, I've been building a brawler and assumed the basic strategy for a good brawler was pure AGI. But I am second-guessing this, as at level 96 with 216 AGI...
I. Can't. Hit. Anything. At all.

I farmed some accuracy gear. It doesn't seem to help at all.
(Total +80 accuracy: NPC crafted Tri-Claws for +30 accuracy, boss drop Fightwear for +10 accuracy, NPC crafted One-Winged Headband +40 accuracy.)

I have some unspent skill points, and will get more as I level, but my only option there is DEX -- I can't spend on CRT because I was dumb and dropped a few points in LUK.

I just want a playable, competent brawler for soloing mini-bosses and breaker-ranking in boss farming.

Would putting my remaining stat points in DEX save me?
Is there gear that can save me?
Or did I screw up this character badly enough to delete it?

 

...I would like to think that 10 badly spent stat points are not enough of a disaster to nuke a character over, but maybe CRT really is *that* important to a non-Drills brawler.

 

You can invest on some c12c12cd12cd7 arm and weps and have a decent amount of overall crate , but you would lose abit of aspd depending on what arms and knux you primaly use.

 

I'd say try Drills (dropped by Moonlight Potum). They give a high crit rate%. But will give negative on crit dmg tho. Haha.

Anyway, a friend did used crit% as his "accuracy." The only way (I think) to hit on a low accuracy is crit%. Try using some equips that boosts that, or use the thing-that-resets-personal-stat and set your personal stat to crt.
I might be wrong or there may be other ways. Am only a novice

You can compensate by having some crate. You're going to need to invest a lot in it to always crit though, so you'll be very squishy from the lack of VIT.

 

Thats the bad side of playing brawler.. low accuracy.
I suggest you to invest on crit gears and forget accuracy stat.

What boss are you farming?
Some bosses are deliberately given high dodge (not even full dex can hit them properly) for some reason but most of the mini bosses and regular bosses on normal difficulty do not have high dodge.

Aside from that by crit+ gears you can easily get 100% critical on triple kicks if you make it your main dps and sb/hs at 50% crit.

 

I can definitely live with losing some speed if the result is a playable character. Not sure if I can get the full statting 12/12/12/7 at my limit for affordability, but I assume statting with lower cd will still let me land hits. I don't mind being sub-optimum.

Sounds like accuracy is kind of a garbage stat. Glad I asked before dumping stat points in DEX.

I am able to land blows on normal and hard Minotaur and any Eerie Crystal. Most bosses beyond that I just whiff endlessly. Off the top of my head, I can't seem to hit Forestia, Nurethoth, Yelb, Boss Roga, Jade Raptor, Miracle Potum, and, most irritatingly/ironically, Moonlight Potum.

 

Forestia, jade and nure(when he is below 50% hp) all have very high dodge that even full dex will have trouble.
Miracle, moonlight and roga arent that bad unless you are really low on crit.
Do you use triple kicks as a dps? It gets critical rate +50 for knux and if you have +25crit from your gears it will become 100% crit

And yep as you guessed accuracy is useless in this game coz if you have ever try a strong boss on nightmare difficulty you will notice even 500accuracy is not enough to hit them consistently. Critical is the way to go as it bypasses enemy dodge (your attacks can only be evaded not miss)

 

Yea. Accuracy is useless. Thats why, people add CRT as their next stat after AGI. At least u shud put 21-35 CRT on your stat. Get mirror of reflection or recreate your char.
Even when u already have those crit armor, u still cant hit several bosses tho.

I have a7cd121212 on knux and cs7cd121212 on armor and i hit decently also my dmg isnt that bad too (90k h.smas@lvl75) i have 240 agi atm and my add gear is for hp so i dont use gothic hat/warhelm etc.. Ive been playing with my brawl but still work in progress .. Just use triple kick as primary dps for now since it has high crate..
