Full Luck farm mage with knuckles ?

Hi there, i have posted a comment in the full luck mage guide but it seems no one has seen / answered it.. im really curious if anyone has tried it out though?
Basically, since equipping knuckle gives +4matk per int.. im wondering if it would be better for luck mages to have elemental knuckle as main and (any) MD as sub? Having MD as sub should still benefit from the magic mastery, wider storm diameter and same mp charge rate as just having MD.. (?) At the same time, getting benefitted from higher weapon attack from knuckle, higher craftable potential hence more cost-effective overall..

Unfortunately only half your weapon atk gets converted to matk if you have knuckles equipped.
Theres knux with like 100+ weapon atk iirc but only half of it is applied that is 50 which in turn is lower than the weapon atk md has as main, md has 70+ wep atk now.
Even though knuckles get the advantage of higher pot/better success on stat lower matk kinda ruins it.

Its usable with element stats coz of the higher success rate but theres also the problem of randoms kicking you coz they can not comprehend utility of knux for farming.
I am hoping that the scenario will change after tier4 skills are released at lvl150 cap with more aoe skills better suited for farming.

 

Magic Mastery is a restricted skill and will NOT apply to sub weapons.
you have to use Martial Mastery.

lastly, the magic power of both weapons is the same.
the difference are the weapon stats and the skill boni.
if you are not using martial skills, you are better of with main MD.

Oh i see, thanks for the info.. anyway, i kinda gave up the idea to knuckle farm for now ...

 

I advise not to give up just yet on the knuckles. The knuckle skills are super useful for breaker role and you can take your luck farmer into boss runs and still contribute to a party. I would easily take that over the loss of say around 50 matk...
