Funniest MMO Experiences:

So I'm bored so I figured a thread like this would be interesting.
Share your favorite/funniest MMO experiences.

Some of you may have heard of the game Legend of Ares. It was notorious for hackers, item duplication, etc and eventually the company shut the servers down since they couldn't combat the issues. Before all that happened though, I was the leader of one of the most feared PKing guilds on my server. I created a build for Archers (previously thought to be one of the worst PvP classes) that completely ignored active skills and instead went for 100% crit chance and other passive boosts. Paired with a ring that made me invisible when not attacking I was able to essentially phase in and out of combat. Come out of stealth, pop a few hits off, turn invisible again etc. I got bored of PvPing and made an alt on another server. My handle in the game was pretty unique (TacoSaurusRex I was 12, give me a break) and when I made my alt, I used a similar name

Within about 5 minutes of getting onto the new server, I received a whisper saying "Are you the same Taco from Demeter? I hate you. I changed servers just to get away from you and your guild."

I felt bad, but it was hilarious at the same time.

Well this one time a person was trying to pay me real money for in game sex on SecondLife

Was doing a PKing clan event on Runescape. We were all on TeamSpeak and one of my mates from in-game had his mic on active which meant that it picked up any moderately distinct sound. So while we were roaming around we hear his door slam open and his mum starts yelling at him like crazy telling him that if he 'splashes' on the toilet seat again she was going to neuter him, haha.

Ahh Runescape the memories. I loved that game so much lol.

I played a Def pure, it was stupid as hell but fun.

 

Runescape was the first MMO I played and I was hooked back in like 2006. I still have my account, but I don't go on anymore. Sorry for going off topic but that game brings back memories
