I just bought the sword for value reason (reselling) and I did not recommend the stats of my sword in this video.

 

Here is another question. Does Sword Mastery affect phamtom slash?

 

Sword Mastery increases one handed sword user's overall attack. so yes, Sword mastery does increase Phantom slash's damage output.

 

this is surely doable not only with tempest, based on what i tested when you posted this, the number of autos you can do after a skill depends on the timing of your hits due to the tempest DPS. I tested it on spin slash, that is smited, and timed it with the hit resets of the spin dps. i could do 3 autos prior to the cancellations. i have yet to provide a video on it because im still observing and coming up with possible conclusions, using lingering DPS skills like Spin and Tempest.

these are all based on my observations so far, i came up with this from the notions that upon observing it on your video the auto attacks, are timed after the dps from tempest hits. and the reason you can do only 4 is because tempest only hits 4 times after the initial hit.
and with my observations on spin slash only doing 3 auto, counting the one from shadow step, is because by the time i land my first auto attack from shadow, the 1st set of dps from spin hits, then can cancel, and as the 2nd set hits, i can do a 2nd set of autos, then the 3rd set, then a 3rd set of autos.

will keep you posted on the possible causes and methods to proc more cancelling animations.

 

sword affects your atk stat directly if you have a 1h equipped, and skills either 1h or DW, are based on ATK and ur CDMG.

 

Update on my finding regarding multiple auto attack cancellations in quick successions.
Will Provide videos and explanation on what I said:

Since I dont have tempest, i decided to try it out on the next best thing, which was spinning slash.
although unlike Tempest, spinning slash is hard to time because the damages water fall down and you cant see when the next set starts, also the factor of knock back which affects the travel time and time you can have to do multiple auto attacks is lessened, it is hard to do, but doable nonetheless, most of the time i can do 1 auto after cancelling the auto from shadow step midway, but there are times i can do 2 more autos after shadow step, similar to the way you cancel out auto attacks in your video.

 

That auto atk cancelling rocks.we can now go full dps combo with no save hahaha
