goouva or odelon

odelon give 10% unsheathe attack
goouva give +100 unsheathe attack

batter odelon or goouva put on special gear? anyone here make katana
STR>DEX stat?
what different if u full dex or full str?

 

goovua for lower attack and odelon for higher attack.

odelon recomended as you will be upgrading weapons in the future and attack will be going higher for every weapon upgrade.

 

I tested with the next formule:
Final Damage = (Base Damage - DEF + flat Unsheathe Attack + skill constant) * skill multiplier * Total crit damage/100 * (1 + Unsheathe Attack%/100)
I tested with different case.
-When the base damage (ATK) is low, Goovua is better.
-When the base damage (ATK) is high, Odelon is better.
The skill constant and skill multupiler was Tenryu Ransei: Zannou with 4 counters and LV 10.
For me i prefer DEX that STR when i always play in NM or ULTI bosses for the high dodge, but in the other hand Tenryu Ransei have a Accuracy Boost for counter when is used.
Idk if my operation was good but i have any idea about this example.

Is twilight dragon bettter though?

 

@Halftooth , make this as ur reference in choosing xtals for add gear specifically for katana:
1. baphomela (12% dmg multiplier)
2. odelon machina (10% dmg multiplier)
3. twilight dragon (8% dmg multiplier)

@Ru, for 1s special gear better use odelon machina, if 2s then odelon+goovua. if u want more dmg use odelon+don yeti, but at least try reaching 1.1k aspd for better mobilization of ur char.

 

Odel works on unseath atk% whereas goovua gives the base atk(unseath atk), then how would odel perform better?

 

the most effective way for u to find out is to test it on actual, any boss u desire & just interchange between ode & goovua on ur special gear. or just refer to the equations hereunder but only considering base cdmg (150%) & unsheathe factors:

OUTPUT DAMAGE using GOOVUA: [total atk + 100(from goovua)]*(cdmg%/100)
OUTPUT DAMAGE using ODELON: (total atk)*(cdmg%/100)*(1.10)
